My wife and I were going to be in Camden for a wedding and were looking for a place to stay with a view. We ran across Beloins we read all the reviews and thought it was the place for us. When we got to the office I was disappointed because I could not see the water from the office.... More

Ok let's call it like it is. The accommodations will remind you of Nana and grandpa's cottage by the sea, filled with the furniture they had when they first wed. You may even have a flashback of your first studio apartment with furniture that was bestowed upon you. The fridge dorm size, but big enough to hold your doggie bags... More

After a hard winter they are rebuilding some of the Motel units on the upper road but allowed us to enjoy the ocean side units at the same rate. Thank you Fred and Jeannie and again a fabulous stay and hospitality. Awoke to lobster boats outside our cabin and enjoyed a AM directly from a textbook Downeast vacation guide!!

This place really is one of a kind. On first glance it looks like a place to drive by on Route 1 and not stop - 1.5 miles north of Camden. HOWEVER, if you drive down newly paved road for 1/2 mile to oceanfront cabins / motel you will be amazed. It is like stepping back in time. Every cabin,... More

The location is perfect and the views are stunning. The owners are very warm and friendly. We stayed in cottage 18 which is right on the edge of the coast. The water is only a few feet away and the waves crashing outside my window is a great form of meditation. My cottage is pet friendly and my dog absolutely... More

Stayed the other night and if your into dated rustic beauty this is your place, extremely reasonable rates, clean and reminiscent of what Maine is all about. Our room was literally perched precariously atop a granite outcropping of rocks. The view is to say the least commanding. Even in October we slept with the sliding door to the patio open... More

The sound of the waves breaking on the rocks right outside my porch lulled me to sleep and woke me up! I scrambled out of bed at an ungodly hour to capture some of the most incredible sunrise pictures EVER! My husband is still in shock that I got up that early and how much I loved this oldtime, down... More

Beloin's Seashore Cottages have the best unobscured views of Penobscot Bay. We stayed in cabin 27 which has a 6ft. picture window giving views up and down the coast. We watched the lobster fisherman retrieving traps directly in front of the cottage and a seal visited throughout the day along with several loons and other waterfowl. The windjammer excursions, sailboats... More

The Beloins are fantastic. It reminded me of my grandparent's mountain cabin which was also built sometime in the 1930s or 1940s. The decor is also from that time...a real trip back in time. It's pretty minimal...beds, chairs, a table....a TV...and in the cottages, a kitchen with all you need to cook a nice meal. The owners set us up... More

What a fantastic location. Right on the rocky coast. So beautiful. The cabins are picturesque from the outside, inside they are big, have great windows and views and everything you could need. They just need some upgrades. The upholstered chairs by the terrific window were so old and yucky I didn't want to sit in them, carpets are grotty, and... More
