What a fantastic location. Right on the rocky coast. So beautiful. The cabins are picturesque from the outside, inside they are big, have great windows and views and everything you could need. They just need some upgrades. The upholstered chairs by the terrific window were so old and yucky I didn't want to sit in them, carpets are grotty, and... More

Rustic old fashioned charm. A bit shabby but who cares. You're on vacation. Relax, let your hair down. Leave your troubles behind. Enjoy the world class views. Cook-out on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, relax on lounge chairs to watch the sunrise and the moonrise. Hike up to Mt Battie and see the world from heaven's view. Breathe. Enjoy.

So what if it's old and the bathroom very small? The innkeepers were delightful, the location convenient, the room was clean. I really appreciated the wine glasses and coffee mugs! I loved our screened porch with the incredible view. Can't wait to go back.

This was our second time at Beloins. The first time we stayed in the motel up near the road. This time we stayed in a cabin on the ocean front. The view was spectacular, but that is the only thing that is good about this place. I understand being in Maine and wanting a rustic feel, but this rustic was... More

There is nothing like Beloins on the Maine coast. If you want something fancy, try someplace else. You won't see top end toiletries, new furniture or chocolates on the pillows. If you want amazing views and the sound of waves on the ocean, Beloins is THE best option in Maine. The only distractions are the occasional lobster boat, seal or... More

Beloin's rooms are as close as you'll ever get to being actually ON the rocky Maine coast. Cottages & motel have in-your-face WOW views -- many open water views even when lounging inside your room, on couch, bed, or chair. Mid-coast Maine Penobscot Bay is especially lovely: lobster buoys & boats, sea birds, picturesque islands. Sunlight sparkling on the water... More

After I got my last day of radiation, I decided to head up the coast to one of my favorite areas -- Camden. I overdid the celebration a little, and as I was heading down Mount Battie, I began to feel extremely weary. I saw this charming place across the street and decided to check it out, even though I... was as I remembered. They don't open until a week before memorial so don't try to call and make reservations during the winter months. Still rustic not for someone seeking luxury. Clean cabins but they are cabins. The view is AMAZING and you have a lot of property to hike around on. I like 19 this time I stayed in... More

This place has an AMEZING location on the ocean cliff over the Camden harbor. All the rooms are small SIMPLE, RUSTIC cabins with full size refrigerators and kitchenettes with all the kitchen stuff you may need. This place is all about the location, view and outdoors. Private beach, lots of trails to go on hikes. The center of town it... More

Wonderful for being right on the ocean but cottages are very basic with paper thin walls- sound carries like people are in the room with you. There is a path down to the rocky beach if you can find it. The staff are nice and helpful.
