Edna St. Vincent Millay and Peyton Place all under the same historically charming roof! (Of course not at the same time). Camden has many dear surprises like the Whitehall Inn and we were so glad to discover it. Absolutely the best breakfast of our trip and comfort beyond what a traveler could ask for. Martinis in the rockers on the... More

My sister and I arrived at the Inn and was greeted by a lovely person (I wish I could remember her name). The room was at the back which was fabulous for us because we like quiet. The room was spotless and the beds were comfy. The breakfast (which was included, and we ordered off the menu) was tasty, and... More

My wife and I recently spent four nights at the venerable Whitehall Inn. Our second floor room afforded a slight view of Penobscot Bay. The breakfast was excellent and was included in our room rate. We also enjoyed the expansive front porch. Although there was some street noise from busy Coastal Route 1 we nevertheless enjoyed sitting in the rockers,... More

A lovely mid-June weekend at the Whitehall. Elegant, comfortable, atmospheric. Plush linens, cool-multiheaded shower. Got a good deal online, too. We liked that it was a couple of blocks from the commercial downtown. Breakfast was over the top...fresh fruit, pancakes, omelets, and more, included in the room stay. And we enjoyed the Edna St. Vincent Millay history. Would certainly choose... More

We were immediately impressed at the beautiful area of town where the Inn is located and at the care taken to preserve the period look of the Inn. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved our room and the high-quality bedding. We utilized the restaurant for breakfast and dinners and were quite impressed at the quality... More

We recently returned to the Whitehall Inn after first staying here about 5 years ago. Our experience was even better than the first time we stayed (which we didn't think was possible). We were greeted by the host and given our room key. it was a Friday night and they have a open house which included a complimentary beverage (I... More

We decided to get married in Camden and have the reception and lodging for the guests at the Whitehall Inn; and what a great choice we made. Anyone thinking of doing the same shouldn't hesitate. The owner Rebecca was extremely helpful and easy to work with from start to finish. Since we were from out of town, it was great... More

We booked this for our daughter and husband for their 1st Anniversary. They went out on the Schooner Olad for a sunset sail and then, to the Whitehall Inn.....They loved it so much they booked a 2nd night.....they just raved about our selection but, to be honest, we just got very, very lucky because we had never actually been there!... I chose Whitehall Inn for the first night's lodging (of a long-overdue vacation) out of the AAA Tour Book, and I can hardly wait to save up for another trip to Maine, IF ONLY for that one experience! Whitehall Inn is more than a century old, with plenty of modern convenience and charm. It is just beautiful, inside and out!... More

My fiance and I (in our early 40's) just recently stayed at the White Hall Inn in Camden, ME. This place is charming, authentic and absolutely romantic and perfect for a couples get away. The Inn itself is filled with authenticity. warmth and charm. This was our first time to Camden and we absolutely LOVED IT. We will definitely be... More
