Our hosts, Candyce and Alan, share their stately beautiful home with just a few guests at a time which contributes to a much more congenial experience. The home is an older house they've lovingly restored and decorated with antiques and period pieces. The mattress on our bed was firm w/o being too hard; we got a good restful sleep. Breakfast... What began as a wedding gift from a doting father to his beloved daughter in the late 1800s, has now been reborn as the Greystone Bed & Breakfast. Calais is the perfect stop before crossing the border into Canada, and the Greystone is its unexpected gem of an accomodation. The home has been perfectly restored by the hosts/owners with charming,... More

We recently stayed one night at this fabulous B&B. I found out about it on tripadvisor and am so glad I did. We had Hannah's Room which was superbly comfortable and equipped with everything a traveler could hope for. The delicious breakfast, ambience, front porch coziness and warmth from our delightful hosts made a most memorable stay .Calais , Maine... More

Inkeepers/owners were very friendly and helpful. Wonderfully kept Inn and grounds. Rooms were large and decorated nicely. Located close to the border crossing for quick hops over to St Andrew or St John. Missed the chocolate festival by 1 day. Maybe next time around.

The B&B is in a well-maintained, older / "vintage" home where the architecture is maintained to its' historical era. The hosts are most welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are large, clean, well decorated with much attention to detail. Good bed, good shower, great breakfast (the breakfast table allows guests to share breakfast together - a great opportunity to meet new... More

Greystone B&B is a gracious and luxurious Victorian home. Our room was large, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The communal lounge area is equally large and luxurious. Alan and Candy are wonderful hosts and the breakfast was gourmet. All for a very modest charge. This was the best value we have had on our tour of New England... More

June 29th, my husband I arrived at the Greystone Inn B&B. We absolutely enjoyed every minute we spent at the Inn. Allan and Candace, the host and hostess greeted us warmly..even though we arrived early..."Johns Room" was ready for us. The bed was very comfortable, the full bath immaculate and well equiped, and the sitting areas inviting and comfortable. We... More

I really cant add too much more to all these great reviews but just felt I had to say something. This is a beautiful B&B, all the way around. We stayed here on a trip up the coast of Maine, Calais was our last stop before we headed "in-land!" We stayed in Hannah's room, and enjoying the wonderful weather our... More

The owners are fabulous; the breakfast is incredible, and the room is perfect. Our room was large enough to have two comfortable chairs and an ottoman which was nice. Since it's good weather, we've been sitting on the front veranda in the afternoons watching the world. The decor is perfect for the time period of the house. We come here... More
