As other reviewers have stated, this is a basic, no-frills motel with dated decor. Front desk is only open until 10pm, so be sure to check in by then! They do offer both smoking and non-smoking rooms, however I believe they simply put a sign on the desk that says it is a non-smoking room if that is what you... More

Basic older-style motel room. Outdated decor but clean and quiet place. Right next to a restaurant within walking distance. Close to the Canadian border crossing so easy to get out the next morning. Desk clerk polite. WiFi worked well.

I was a little wary about staying at this hotel?there are only 2 hotels in this town so you dont have much choice.but i was pleasantly suprised with my stay.the room was comfortable and clean even though a little musty smelling when walked into the room.i would reccomend this hotel for a short stay.

We stayed in the main older complex as the ones overlooking the water were full. I know retro type motels are making a comeback but the room looked like it was in the year 1973. The walls were paneled and 20 years old shag carpet. Washroom was dingy and towels were terrible. It did have a flat screen TV but... More

This motel is definitely the worst motel I've ever stayed at. The only thing it has going for it is that it's cheap and had parking. From the moment arriving and checking in, the front desk guy was not friendly at all. No please or thank you or good night, just general grumpiness. They close the front desk completely at... More

We were told they had a new section down a few stairs. It's a separate building with 14 steep narrow stairs that make carrying large luggage pretty dangerous. The rooms in the new building are actually 19 years old! We felt very misled. No biggie right? We open the door and are hit with musty odor. No biggie, we will... More

While I was headed to St. John, New Brunswick to run the marathon I stumbled upon the International Motel on the U.S. side of the border. It's not too often after a long day of driving, without a reservation, you end up pleasantly surprised. This beautiful location had an unobstructed view of the St. Croix River, clean spacious room with... More

The outside of the motel is nice enough but that ends once you enter the room. It smelled, the bed sheets did not look like they were changed and the bathroom was filthy. After staying there, I came down with a respiratory infection. Stay away.

Nice local hotel, reasonable, clean and comfortable. Convenient to restaurants. Would go back anytime passing through the area. Easy access to bridge to Canada. Nearby amenities include several restaurants, fuel, places for coffee.

This place is horrible. Please avoid. Bugs, crummy shower, musty smelly rooms, poor electrical, TV's are a joke. The biggest issue is there is such a difference in rooms. My room had an old TV with five channels. Other people traveling had different TV's with varying levels of cable. One had a fridge, one did not. Everyone talks about the... More
