We stayed for one night on a road trip north. The hotel was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is in walking distance to downtown Brunswick which has many restaurants and shops.

Feels more like a mansion then hotel. We got a suite since we had kids, and it was once of the nicest i've been in, had seperate bedroom for us, and a living room where the kids slept, with dual entry huge bathroom with tub and seperate shower. really luxurious all the way around. The breakfast was simple but good.... More

Husband and I stayed at The Daniel for one night only. Staff was super accommodating and helped order us dinner that was sent to our room. We arranged this when we were on the road traveling from Boston Logan late one night in July. Rooms were very clean and the hotel was quiet. THe lobby and decor is nothing to... More

The Daniel is a clean, well-appointed attractive property a peaceful ambiance, friendly staff and great prices. It's walking distance to the best restaurants (try Trattoria Athena) and shopping in Brunswick and is convenient to the highway for trips to neighboring towns and attractions. Our room was clean, the beds good and the linens and pillows comfortable. The continental breakfast is... More

We were very pleased with our stay at The Daniel. As the title indicates, The Daniel has many touches of a small European hotel. The differences were the contemporary furnishings (i.e., the desk chair!!!) Our corner room had a lovely view of the small garden and pond. The room was relatively small, but the windows made it seem larger. The... More

Brunswick, ME isn't exactly the world's most happening place, but it is nearby several other places. The hotel staff was really accommodating, the rooms were clean, and we had a pleasant stay. However, for the price of the room, it was very small and I wish we had upgraded to the King--a friend did and it was a much nicer... More

The Daniel is exactly what we had hoped it would be -- a well-designed hotel that's just the right size - not too big and not too small. It's large enough to be professionally-managed, without the quirkiness of a bed-and-breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and everyone was pleasant and helpful.

So thrilled to have landed at The Daniel here on the banks of the Andrescoggin river. The welcome from the front desk and upgrade to a beautiful corner room overlooking the river made my one night here so much better. I hope when you check in to this comfortable Maine getaway Joanna is at the front desk. She provided superb... More

Beautiful, well-kept quaint Inn nestled in a stunning setting. The restaurant food is outstanding. Service at the Inn and Restaurant is very personal and special. We read complaints about the noisy river near the Inn and it hasn't been an issue for us.

The facilities, the staff, the bar, the restaurant, the room including the dual rain shower heads, even the workout room (which had excellent free weights) all exceeded our expectations. Throw in a very nice continental breakfast (included in the price of the room)...it was exactly what we needed. Oh, and have Mary make you a blueberry martini in the bar...outstanding!
