As I walked into the lobby I was immediately taken in by the warmth of this beautiful quaint Inn. The gal at the desk was so kind and welcoming as though I had just come home from a long journey. She was polite and not overbearing. She gave me enough information without overwhelming me with too much for me to... More

The Captain Daniel Stone Inn is a lovely, elegant hotel in beautiful mid-coast Maine. We spent our anniversary here on a trip to coastal Maine. I only wish we had spent more time at the inn and in the beautiful area. After a gorgeous, sunny day sightseeing on the coast, we arrived to the serene oasis of the Captain Daniel... More

I stayed at this hotel for a work meeting for 4 nights. It was a very nice stay. They have a lovely breakfast with delicious quiche. The rooms are nice and comfortable with nice linens, soaps, lighting, etc. The complimentary wi-fi was a huge plus. The location is close to "downtown" Brunswick and a short walk to a lovely walking,... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 mights for our anniversary week end. Hotel was clean and hospitality staff met our every need. The morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious, great breads and fruit included. We both enjoyed the robust flavorful coffee in the lounge and the afternoon cookies were hard to beat! We had the corner room and found... More

This visit was just a stop over on the way further up the coast, but we could have spent the week here. What a great property and the location is perfect. Just steps from town, but far enough away to allow for some real quiet time. There prize here is the staff. From check-in until check-out, each made us feel... More

I loved this hotel! It is a beautiful place. The rooms are beautiful. The staff was beyond helpful. I was a little bummed that their spa was closed though. They gave me information on alternatives, so that was helpful. If you stay, pay attention to the levels. I got a bit lost trying to get back to the parking lot.... More

I had an excellent experience at the beautiful Captain Daniel Stone Inn with a business meeting, followed by a social hour and dinner serving 45 business people. The Inn staff met all my needs from the first steps of planning and reviewing to service on the day of my event. The Inn staff was a pleasure to work with and... More

As a veteran traveler I found the Daniel Stone Inn to be one of the finest places I've stayed. Perhaps its greatest asset is the location, tucked in a quiet, almost secret place, right on the edge of town, overlooking the river. Close to everything, yet protected from all the "noise" of commerce. Spacious, elegant, and rustic, with a beautiful... More

This was my first trip to Maine so I wasn't sure what to expect when looking for a hotel, but this one more then met my expectations. The location was easy to find and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms are a very good size and well worth the price considering it was super clean and the amenities were... More
