We have been to this inn a couple of times and have enjoyed our stay on both occassions. The Lobby is very spacious and pretty and the staff is very friendly. We thought the restaurant was nice with a good menu. We will return again. more

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights because we were attending a wedding in Brunswick. The pictures are not completely accurate, as the resort looks a lot more unkept in person. It was very clean, although a little run down. I personally prefer more modern accommodations, but this might be the perfect place for people who appreciate old-fashioned hotels.... more

We arrived to find our "historic" hotel room freezing cold as the window could not shut completely due to the building structure settling. I stuffed some towels in the window to keep out the wind (think ME at the end of Oct) and we managed to get the heat working. When we came back from dinner the heat no longer... more

Stayed here for one night in a "suite", as I grew up in Topsham and hadn't been back to the area in a long time. I stayed here 20 years ago when I got married. The staff was very nice and accomodating, but the room backed up to the highway, so no real view. The a/c units are window installed,... more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Captain Daniel Stone Inn.We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room that we've gotten was just breath taking-very spacious, clean with king size bed and extremely comfortable mattress, plus jacuzzi!! The staff at the Inn was exceptionally friendly, professional and always there to help or give directions. Continental breakfast , which was... more

Our booking on Expedia said it was for a Standard Rate Leisure King Pillowtop Mattress NonSmoking Room and that the hotel had a restaurant and limited room service. The photos were lovely and it sounded great for our one night stop over. But it wasn't exactly as promised... The restaurant apparently closed 2 months ago, so there was no food... more

The Daniel Stone Inn looks good from its web but isn't so hot in person. It backs onto a highway, its rooms are in need of refurbishing and its bathroom had bugs. The breakfast for an "inn" was not even up to the Residence Inn standards. It was so bad that we looked at it and went to a grocery... more

We have been staying at the captain daniel stone inn off and on for the past few years. We've seen how the new owners have poured their hearts and souls into making this inn a wonderful place to stay. We love all the upgrades that they have done. Couldn't ask for a better staff, they bend over backwards for the... more

My husband and I have stayed here many times. The staff is super friendly, the owners go out of their way for you. The beds are newer and comfortable, as for the highway, a bit noisy, but that can't really be helped. The breakfast was simply delicious! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! There are always a few whom... more
