I have to stay one-nighters throughout New England while following my daughter's college hockey games. Whenever and wherever I do, and there's an America's Best Value Inn, I stay there and have never been let down. My daughter stayed across the street at the Fairfield/Marriott - I'm sure a wonderful place - but I don't need an indoor pool, fitness... More

Another classic ‘park in front of you door’ motel and I always tend to love this type of place. The first reason is obvious: a couple of steps and all your stuff is in (and I tend to carry a lot). The second reason is that you don’t get anyone monkeying around on the second floor (as there isn’t one).... More

Mid-coast Maine is great for a visit any time of year, but it can be hard to find a place to stay especially during the summer months. America's Best Value Inn is run by a delightful family and is a reasonable alternative especially if one is staying for several days.

The room was clean. I loved the beds and the pillows; they were so comfortable. It was quiet. We stayed on a Friday night in December. The wifi worked well. It was easy to miss when you get off of Route 295. It was far from Maine Street in Brunswick. I am a Bowdoin College parent; it took 5 minutes... More

Went to tour Husson University in Bangor, ME, with my daughter on a Wednesday and decided to travel from RI on Tuesday evening to avoid traffic and potential delays in Boston on the day of the tour. The room was a good value, clean enough, pretty much what I was anticipating for what I was paying. My overall rating of... More

I booked this motel because of its price. I got in pretty late and left early so there wasn't too much that I saw.. the rooms were big... the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The TV worked well and the shower was good. It's right by the highway and it's a little trick getting back to it from... More

When I book a budget hotel, I know it won't be perfect. I wasn't really surprised that I could easily hear the neighbors and I don't think that was the fault of the Inn. Also, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room wasn't very comfortable though, since the mattresses were pretty lumpy. There were also... More

We traveled to New England on a shoestring so we needed and inexpensive place to stay. Our main concern was cleanliness and we certainly were not disappointed. The beds were comfortable, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi were provided in the room, and fruit, pastries, cereal & yogurt were available for breakfast in the lobby or you could take a... The proprietors of this hotel are very pleasant, the room reasonably priced, the room clean and in good working order. I came in very late looking and was met with kindness and got exactly what I was looking for in a reasonably priced room.

We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor so gave this motel a try. The beds were NOT comfortable. The place was clean, the clerk very pleasant and the price was good in comparison to others in the area. The linens felt worn, the bedding was dated. I think I am too used to the big chains where I feel... More

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the stay at our facility. As a small property we try our best to please the guest and make their stay comfortable. We are not a five star hotel, we try to run it to make the guests stay comfortable. As far as we have seen, even the big chain hotels could... More
