We made a last minute booking here in our way to Acadia. Always call and book directly! It is much better! We arrived super late, but they were very accommodating and made arrangements for us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with all the basics you need. The continental breakfast was complete and filling. But the property owners are... More

I have stayed at several Americas Best Value Inn's in the past and every time I swear to never return, but this one had so many good reviews and was so cheap I did it again. All the rave is well deserved. This hotel is super clean, newly and tastefully renovated, great friendly staff, and original art that's actually not... More

I don't typically stay in motels so I am not an expert but this well located motel hosted by Harry and Anila from India was a good experience. The host was friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable (approximately $75), the room was newly renovated and most importantly it was about 30 minutes from Portland's airport. This was perfect for... More

If you are seeking a typical multistory chain hotel then this place is not for you. Instead this is a great value drive up motel that has been well taken care of by the owners. The rooms are quite large with freshly painted walls, new ceiling, new carpets, and a completely refurbished bathroom containing new vanity, toilet, mirror, and hair... More

Basic motel, nothing exciting. Good location with an easy access from the highway. Rooms are ok, clean but little dated. Super thin walls!!! You can hear all conversations, so if you are in some shady business and want to meet there with your peers I wouldn't recommend it. Super friendly girl in the office. She has told us about a... We stayed here while doing some sightseeing on a weekend away in Maine. It was fine, but really nothing special. The pillows were limp and lumpy and the bathroom a bit swampy and mildewy. Do not think that it was worth the $150 we spent. While the staff were super-friendly, would not stay here again.

I recommend this hotel as the better alternative to any Econo Lodge or Comfort Inn or Quality Inn. It is run by a very sweet woman, the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is quiet, and all in all it is very very pleasant. It does not have that impersonal chain feel, and I highly recommend it. Great value too.

Went on a road trip to Maine and found out there was no vacancy in Freeport. Drove to Brunswick and Anita accommodated us. She is genuine lady and we got a room with no complaints. Room clean and spacious. Continental was simple but enough to get us up with a smile. Definite stop if you are looking a good place... More

We were looking for a cheap hotel on the coast of Maine in July - impossible? This hotel was in our price range, but it's right off 295 and Rt 1, so we expected something loud and impersonal and cement-like, such as a Motel 6 or 8. BUT IT WAS WAY BETTER!! The simple clean ground floor room had windows... More

I spent a weekend here with my girlfriend, on vacation, to see a pretty stretch of the coast of Maine. Didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted something pleasant. The America's Best Value Inn fit the bill very nicely. This is a family-owned motel, and the owners were there at breakfast both mornings. They were friendly and... More
