I stayed as part of a business trip with some colleagues and we were all impressed. Despite only being 4 years old it has the feel of an historic inn. Staff are lovely and very friendly. We ate in the tavern which was great. I had the scallop & lobster risotto - delicious. My room was well appointed and the... More

This hotel is situated just a stone's throw from the train station. We travelled by train - 3.5 hour journey - the train journey was most enjoyable, a real local feel to the welcoming atmosphere from the moment we set foot on the train at Boston North Station. Everyone knew each other - regular commuters - a friendly bunch. The... More

Every staff member was friendly, professional, and helpful. Lobby area is beautiful, comfortable and spotless, as was our room. Comfortable beds, good shower. Parking not an issue for us, small upper and lower lots, had a space all weekend and left the hotel multiple times. Tavern food is good- breakfast was actually excellent both days and dinner was pretty good... More

Had just an overnight and it was perfect for visiting Bowdoin. The most important elements of a hotel: well located, comfortable sleeping, quiet, and decent amenities were all spot on. Attached tavern had terrific selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Everything was tasteful and understated. We will most definitely stay here again and will hopefully have to.

We would stay here again! The lobby is welcoming and tastefully decorated. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff at the front desk were helpful and attentive. We ate at the Tavern and really enjoyed the live music and fun atmosphere (it was a Friday night). Even more importantly, the food was delicious.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, outside and in. Rooms are very up-to-date and modern. They definitely do not skimp out on anything including the soap and shampoo samples from Bath and Body Works. The staff was so wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and there was nothing we needed. Bathrooms are huge and... More

A group of us local women had reserved the space by the fireplace for our monthly Brunswick "Wednesday, Women and Wine" event. Wendy, our server, made sure we were well taken care of even though she had to deal with about 20 women with separate bills. The room was cosy and comfortable and service was great. I will be sure... This hotel was amazing. Pretty pricey but had everything we wanted and is walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. We stayed 2 nights in one of the suites which was like an apartment. The tv needs to be bigger. The food was amazing. Again, expensive but very worth it.

After coming in late from a blustery drive, the kitchen stayed open just to accommodate us. Warm, clean rooms awaited us and even a small workout room in the basement allowed us to stay in shape while the wind whirled outside. Need I say more? Only, I wish the coffee were stronger for us coffee snobs.

A friend and I took the Amtrak to Brunswick for the weekend and stayed at the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern. Because we took the train we left town late and got there early. The hotel kindly checked us in early when we arrived and allowed us to leave our bags the day we left so we could explore Brunswick on... More
