We were married at The Brunswick Inn on Nov. 14,2015 and the event was sensational! Eileen, the inn keeper, did her all to make our wedding weekend an event to remember. We had 35 guests, most staying at the inn, wed in the parlor and had a delicious reception in the dining room. The rooms were all huge and comfy.... More

We had a room in the carriage house with two beds. Lots of room and we could open the widows for the evening breeze. The common area in the carriage house offered comfortable seating and coffee and tea were available in the mornings. A short walk to the main house where a delicious breakfast was served. Get the homemade granola... More

Historic building in the heart of town means a short walk to several good restaurants. Good breakfast. fireplaces with real wood fires downstairs. The common rooms were occasionally occupied by private parties – which was an unpleasant surprise.

Thanks so much for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that you were unpleasantly surprised by the two events taking place. We do host a number of private functions but always make sure there are common spaces for our guests to enjoy. If there is a dinner, we welcome guests in... More

We did not have a reservation but they had a room available for us. We were on the top floor, which meant 2 steep flights of stairs, but what a room! We had a large bedroom with windows on 2 sides, a nice bathroom, and a comfy sitting room that also has a twin-sized bed. Lots of comfortable chairs and... More

My husband and I stayed at The Brunswick Inn for a weekend getaway and we both loved it. Great New England feel with some sophistication thrown in. The porch is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and afternoon drinks, and we could walk everywhere. Staff was attentive but not smothering. Breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be back... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Inn. The owner, Eileen, and her staff, were engaged, friendly, and helpful, particularly with our special dietary needs, but also with suggestions for activities and dining options. The facilities are quaint and appropriate for a building of this age, and just what we desired. The location is perfect for a walking... More

We returned to The Brunswick Inn recently for a second college visit. Bowdoin's campus couldn't be closer, and Annie, who was working the front desk, provided us with a campus map and directions and answered all our questions about where to visit after our tour. She and the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming, including the breakfast chef... More

Fantastic welcome, choice of rooms, quiet night in a big room with comfy bed. Beautiful common areas, and great-looking breakfast options. The rooms were a little spartan & the a/c in #6 needs an upgrade (noisy!!!), but clean and well cared for property. Great location, close to all the offerings on the main street. Choose a room in the back... More

My spouse and I stayed at the Inn for two nights recently and were very disappointed. We were never even introduced to the Inn Keeper but dealt with staff who clearly just saw their involvement as a job. It felt like we were staying in an old hotel in need of attention. Most of the time when you think antique... More

As the owner, I am sorry that you were unhappy. I was at the Inn all weekend and would have been happy to address any issues if they had been brought to my attention, particularly breakfast. The chef would have been happy to prepare something else for you. We are not a modern hotel. As an old New England Inn,... More

After a long, wet, dark drive from the White Mountains; we were so glad that we had chosen to stay the night in this beautiful Inn. We walked into the bar area and were welcomed and taken up to our room straight away. Unfortunately we had missed dinner, however we were given advice on a number of different eating options...
