Our experience was all positive from the moment we booked at this hotel until we left. Check in was smooth and the staff were very friendly and well dressed. The hotel is in top notch condition and the price we paid was reasonable for what we got. They have a heated pool. It was a bit cool at first but... More

We've stayed at the Parkwood Inn several times over the years, but this is the first time since it has become a Best Western property. The staff has always been pleasant and the breakfast is amazing, not just a continental breakfast. The beds are comfortable and it is impeccably clean. It's a nice location and there is a lot to... The hotel is nicely tucked away in the woods. We were put in a pet room because we thought we had to bring our dog, but as it turned out we didn't. Not a single clue that it was a pet room, except for the charming back porch to let the dog out. The weather was just sunny and warm... More

Lobby is large & echoing - desk clerk talking with guests at 2:30 a.m. - sound echoed down hallway to our room. Breakfast is predictable, nothing special. Front desk clerk we experienced obviously new - when asked for list of restaurants that delivered we were referred to the internet! There are other hotel choices in the area. We selected this... The Best Western has become our "go to" hotel in Brunswick. I bet we've stayed there 15 to 20 nights over the past 2 years. What it's not: trendy; snooty; over-priced; or pretentious. It's also not "down town", and some guests may mind the 5 minute drive to Bowdoin College and Maine Street. And you're going to need a car... More

Whenever I'm traveling and I'm required to stay in the Brunswick-Bath area, I always stay at this Best Western because everything is so nice including the staff. This time I stayed we happened to get hit with a record breaking Blizzard of 2015 and over two feet of snow. Weather reporters and government officials were advising people to stay put... More

13 days in this hotel. Nice early breakfast but it never changed. A couple of the staff were great (Tonya and Melissa M) the others were so, so. They could have done a better job servicing the room. It seems isolated. There are restaurants, movie and some shopping a half a mile away with nothing in between The hotel is... More

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. The Best Western plus has a beautiful fireplace with an area separate from the bedroom to relax in. The spa tub was clean and relaxing. I would definitely go to a Best Western Plus again.

Clean room, friendly staff, and great breakfast. What more can you ask for, (except a hot tub?) Also very close to restaurants and the ocean. Great value for the price of the room. The swimming pool water is a little cloudy, but I believe it is because it is a salt water pool. The only thing they could improve on... More

Enjoying a couple of days in Maine in August is easy: blue skies and sea, warm breezes and outdoor dining everywhere you turn. Come back in December and one needs serious shelter during short, damp, chilly and grey days. We found it at the Best Western. Not our first visit, but a consistently great spot with great rooms, friendly staff,... More
