At first we were pleased with the location and overall set-up of our room. We were located in the back facing the pond, and the room could comfortably sleep four people. There was only enough towels for two people, so we visited the front desk to request more towels and additional blankets. When we returned to our room that night,... More

This was a clean room situated in a good place for us to stop. I would not go out of my way to stay here, but the rooms are reasonably priced. The rooms were large and clean, but rather dated. The beds were comfortable. There is a large grassy area overlooking a lake behind the rooms which strangely has only... More

I have been going to Maine to visit friends in July for ten years. For eight of them I have stayed at Pleasant Mountain Inn only because they allow pets. Last year, I thought it was annoying that I had to change rooms twice because the first room they put me in was like a cave and smelled of mold.... More

We love that we can bring the dogs up and stay in a clean, friendly, reasonable hotel. It's close to all area attractions, and a great central location. Also, we love having a great restaurant on site! We were disappointed to hear they don't allow dogs in the rear building anymore.

I stayed at the Pleasant Mountain Inn in May, 2014. I was in the area on business and found the rooms clean, the view out the back spectacular. Ate in the adjacent restaurant two of the three nights I was there and met great people--locals, mostly--who enjoy the food and familiar faces. Looking to return here on vacation.

I had a brief, but very good stay at the Pleasant Mountain Inn back around May 10th. The location was great for me to head in any direction I was going to fish for the day. The neighboring Restaurant on the property served great food and a pleasure to dine at. I'll certainly be back.

Stayed at this inn with some high school classmates. The staff was very welcoming, our room was clean and spacious. The restaurant on site was wonderful, delicious food and affordable. The menu was huge.

Great value for money. Clean and the heater works well. There are coffee making facilities and free ice (which seems to be common in the US even when the weather is nearly zero). Staff couldn't be more friendly. Food great at the adjoining diner.

Simple place close to Shawnee Peak for skiing. PMI is clean and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a drink and dinner at the adjoing restaurant, the Campfire Grille and that was good too. Would return, can park right in front of your room. Plenty of ice if you need for cooler or drinks.

My wife and I just got back from a weekend at the Pleasant Mountain Inn. This was my second stay and I will be back again in the spring. This is a good clean friendly Maine motel. The attached restaurant is very good and seems to be a very popular place. I would definitely recommend staying here, the motel has... More
