Al & Leeann are the quintessential innkeepers in the Bangor/ Brewer area. The rooms are comfortable & clean. And I enjoy the room's State of Maine decorative themes. Cheryl & Matt are very friendly & knowledgeable.

It's a nice place, with good people - but there are a couple of things that I saw could improve to make it GREAT. My shower curtain was folded over on one end and in the fold was mold (rhyme unintended!). My first night, I could only secure the door with the chain, it wouldn't latch or lock. Both problems... I was attending a conference in Bangor and wanted a nice little inexpensive getaway night for myself. This was the perfect spot for me. Matt and Cheryl were both very helpful and pleasant. When I checked in Matt upgraded my room from a double bed room to a queen bed room for the same low price. It was quiet, the... More

Stayed 3 days while our brother was getting medical attention nearby. Matt and the entire front desk staff were wonderful. Thanks for all the directions and assistance. The daily free breakfast was awesome, as was the dining room. Loved the double Belgin waffle maker and great hostess. Such a nice calm way to start our days. The rooms were decent,... More

I went by the trip advisor reviews when we booked a one night stay this month. The room was run down and nothing like the cozy bedrooms with pine paneling and country quilts I saw online. The positive reviewers must have stayed in the suites which appear to have been more recently updated. We were in the separate annex. Door... More

We had to spend a few days in Brewer, Me because our truck and a Maine Deer tried to occupy the same place at the same time. Matt greeted us when we arrived and got us a room, great price and very comfortable. Breakfast,(free), included making your waffles, toast, coffee etc. Cheryl went out of her way to help us... More

We stayed in the Victorian Suite. It was beautiful. The room was very very spacious and well set up. The room was exceptionally clean. Just wanted a night away, to relax. This room was the perfect place to stay with Hot Tub right in the room with you. It was wonderful. Would do it again.

For the age of the buildings, we found the room clean and pleasant. We weren't sure how the heat worked, but didn't ask either, so that was our fault. We were comfortable as it was. The waffles were really tasty and the coffee was too - some motel coffee leaves much to be desired. We would reserve there another time.

Dear Valued Guest(s): Thank you for lodging at Vacationland Inn. We have been using the newer digital thermostats and as we replace them we are returning to the good old fashioned dial thermostats. Much easier for our guests to use. Feel free to contact the front desk's care line when you have any concerns or questions. Our staff is here... More

We have stayed at Vacationland every time we go to Bangor. They are very friendly and welcoming and we love the waffles at breakfasttime. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This time we took our Puppy with us and had a Puppy Room. Which had laminate? Flooring instead of carpet.
