We stayed in the "Captain's Quarters" with our own private balcony. This may not be the most elegant B&B in town but it was spotless clean, good sheets, great view and a very large hot breakfast. The price was great and our hostess was very accommodating. Will stay here again.

This is really just like staying over in your grandma's house. Rooms were outdated but cute/country and clean. We had the front two rooms overlooking restaurants and water on the ground floor. The best part was the breakfast. Kim can COOK! She definitely made you feel like you've known her forever and you're part of the family. Rooms are fairly... More

We stayed two nights with Kim at Captain Sawyers Place. It is the most convenient place as well as the most reasonable in Booth Bay Harbor. The off street parking is an added bonus. We had a room at the front of the house with a lovely breeze. We almost felt like outsiders both mornings we were there since everyone... More

We stayed here two nights. We had the two front rooms at the front of the house. Plenty of parking at the back. I entered the building from the back and my first impression was that I was intruding on a private house. 3 kids, a large dog and a cat were there. However, Kim (the owner) gave me a... More

We had our first stayover at Captain Sawyer's Place the week of the 4th of July and it was highly recomended on Tripadvisor and we met our friends there. Our friends (who had been there before) chose the larger room on the second floor (can't remember the name) and we had I think the East Wing room. I personally am... More

I have been going to Captain Sawyer's Inn for 5-6 years and it is the best place ever. Kim is very kind and I feel like I am going to visit a good friend every time I go. Especially on my anniversary, when she suprised us with the best cake ever. Her breakfast is awesome. I stay in a room... More

It is hard to truly get a feel for what you're getting into when you are doing internet trip planning. (That's one of the reasons Trip Advisor Reviews are sooo helpful.) So after reading reviews and trying not to bust our vacation budget, we booked and stayed at Captain Sawyer's Place. We were THRILLED with our decision. Kim is a... More

This is a wonderful B & B. It's location is within easy walking distance of great restaurants (Ebb Tide for lunch, Kaler's for lobster, ice cream place for dessert) and many cruises from the docks across the street. The rooms and bathrooms are not huge, but the room at the top was very large. Some of the view of the... More

If you have dreams of wearing a sweatshirt in July while walking down a foot bridge with a belly full of lobster holding the hand of the man you love. This is you place. The best place in town and at the best price. Cozy rooms get the bay breeze at night windows open and a four poster bed! Wonderful... More

We spent the night at Captain Sawyers on June 21st and found the B & B to be a geat value for the money. Kim was a gracious hostess and has a beautiful rustic inn to stay in. The room we had faced the street on the first floor and was small but functional. No need for A/C as the... More
