This will be the third year we go back to Captain Sawyers for our anniversary weekend. The innkeeper is warm and friendly but not in your face. She makes a wonderful, truely homemade breakfast. Have stayed at several places in Maine over last 20 years but keep ging back to Captain's Saywer's, which is the best for a true Bed and Breakfast stay. We booked Captain Sawyer's Place mainly because it was one of the only B&Bs that was open the weekend that we were heading to Boothbay to relax.
