We went up there for a friends wedding this past weekend. Honestly, it was nicer than I thought it would be with all the disclaimers that it's a family summer camp and very rustic! Yes, you have to walk rocky dirt roads to get from parking to building to building. Yes it is rustic, but it's very cute! The ceremony... More

I'll start off with the positive . Great view from the pool/ breakfast building. We had dogs with us and the cabin is exactly what I expected, very campy it was perfect. Breakfast which was included was better than I expected, eggs, bacon, home fries, along with cereals, fruit and fresh muffins/scones. The pool was nice overlooking the bay. When we... More

We just returned from a four day family stay. This place can't be beat for the location, the kind staff, the food and the service. The meals were all inclusive and I can't even begin to describe how wonderful they were. I am a vegan and had no problem whatsoever with having my food needs met. I heard that one... More

My parents have been going for over 30 years. My wife and I have been going for 15 years. Summer wouldn't be the same without LBR. Obviously, we love this place or we wouldn't be yearly visitors. No, it's not the Four Seasons. Then again, neither are we. LBR is so relaxed that the most important conversation of the day... More

We booked 4 nights at LBR, stayed only one night, and left first thing in the morning. While there are things to do here, the accommodations are quite poor. We were looking for rustic, but the cabins here are just plain run-down. Our cabin required climbing through the woods (cool) and stepping over sewer pipes (not cool). The musty odor... More

My family (two teenaged boys) spent a week at Linekin in early July for the first time. We had two spacious, clean and comfortable rooms right on the water. We spent each day swimming in the pool and bay, sailing, paddle boarding and kayaking only to be interrupted by delicious meals, a game of tennis, shuffleboard, or perhaps a walk.... More

My husband and I really wanted a vacation that was full of down and dirty family fun, without commercialism. We found it! Linekin is the antidote to the ordinary vacation. Notice: your bathroom will be old, the faucet may be rusty, but it will be clean and the shower will be hot. This is not about the accommodations, it's about... More

Our family of 15 including three generations ranging in age from 3 to 66 just spent 6 days together at Linekin Bay Resort. It was one of the best vacations that any of us ever had. The accommodations are rustic but very nice, the food was gourmet (especially the bread & pastries) & the service could not have been better.... More

This is the kind of place you either fall in love with or can't wait to leave; we are the former. A fellow guest describes it as shabby sheik and that is a good label. Fancy it ain't. But if you are looking for rustic charm, a place on the water, with a view to die for, that is all... More

We have stayed at Linekin Bay Resort for 5 out of the past 6 years and can't imagine summer without it. We love the access to sailing and paddling in this peaceful harbor. It is nice to be removed from the scene of Boothbay yet have access to it if you need. There is so much to do at LBR... More
