We feel obliged to repeat most of what the other terrible reviews have said of the Linekin Bay Resort - if only to save another family from wasting their time and money staying here. We stayed with some friends, all together 4 adults, 5 kids -- booked for 6 nights (only stayed 5). While prices may seem reasonable, this hotel... More

Think back about how it felt to be a kid and have a wonderful camp to be allowed to be free to enjoy. If you would like to give that memory to your own children I would suggest that you consider this location. Sailing and self-propelled water sports along a beautiful vista are among the laid back, calming atmosphere that... More

This is an amazing resort for families that is right on the ocean. It's all inclusive (minus alcohol, which is normal), so you and your children are free to explore. They offer many water activities such as sailing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and paddle boarding. They also have a tennis court, and a pool if the ocean is not your thing... More

We recently returned from six nights at Linekin Bay with 12 family members ranging from 7 weeks to 80 years old. We all stayed in the East Lodge, which I believe is reserved for large groups, so some of our observations may not be accurate for the smaller cabins. We had a very nice time but feel that we were... The whole experience was incredible! The food was outstanding, the staff was so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The cabins were rustic, but comfortable. Of course the beauty of the resort was an initial draw but the heated pool was well used, along with the paddle boards, kayaks, and sail boats. The sunsets are beautiful.... More

We went up there for a friends wedding this past weekend. Honestly, it was nicer than I thought it would be with all the disclaimers that it's a family summer camp and very rustic! Yes, you have to walk rocky dirt roads to get from parking to building to building. Yes it is rustic, but it's very cute! The ceremony... More

I'll start off with the positive . Great view from the pool/ breakfast building. We had dogs with us and the cabin is exactly what I expected, very campy it was perfect. Breakfast which was included was better than I expected, eggs, bacon, home fries, along with cereals, fruit and fresh muffins/scones. The pool was nice overlooking the bay. When we... More

We just returned from a four day family stay. This place can't be beat for the location, the kind staff, the food and the service. The meals were all inclusive and I can't even begin to describe how wonderful they were. I am a vegan and had no problem whatsoever with having my food needs met. I heard that one... More

My parents have been going for over 30 years. My wife and I have been going for 15 years. Summer wouldn't be the same without LBR. Obviously, we love this place or we wouldn't be yearly visitors. No, it's not the Four Seasons. Then again, neither are we. LBR is so relaxed that the most important conversation of the day... More

We booked 4 nights at LBR, stayed only one night, and left first thing in the morning. While there are things to do here, the accommodations are quite poor. We were looking for rustic, but the cabins here are just plain run-down. Our cabin required climbing through the woods (cool) and stepping over sewer pipes (not cool). The musty odor... More
