I wanted to review this place not because I wanted to kill it like everyone else, but I wanted to be really honest and detailed in what I experienced. As an avid traveler & B&B fan I have to say that this place was unfortunate. (My honey isn't really familiar with TripAdvisor so when he booked it, he wasn't privy... more

This place was awful...cluttered with junk, dirty and most unfriendly Inn keeper. We checked in and wished we could have checked right out. The bathroom was filthy..we showered with our socks on so as to prevent fungal infections. And who has a white shag rug in a bathroom that NEVER gets laundered?? It was such a horrible experience we didn't... more

Imagine a house filled with a lifetime of junk collected by your crazy grandma, the one who stops at every flea market she ever passed by. That's how this house is "decorated." Not one inch of wall space is blank. Not one piece of matching furniture. Nothing has ever been thrown away. EVER. Instead, it's on the walls or in... more

This place should be shut down for masquerading as a bed & breakfast. If your goal is to enjoy yourself in Maine DON'T STAY HERE. We left within minutes of arriving and we were told by the disturbed host, we were going to be charged at the full rate if we left, WE LEFT. We have stayed in many bed... more

Very overpriced by at least 50%. Great location but tiny room, poor breakfast that the guest has to serve himself (and clear)! Poor lounge area with threadbare carpets and old, worn furniture, tough walk into town with expensive parking if you decide to drive in. more

The location of this inn is its best asset. A beautiful view and short walk to town with shopping and restaurants was a a perfect way to experience BBH. The house itself could use some updating, and the back terrace could use some serious weeding. The website calls the inn "luxury" which I think may be a stretch. more

I just filled out a request for information about a future stay and they billed me immediately! When I called (within 15 minutes) I was told that I was stupid for filling out the credit card of the form and that they would not cancel the charge. Then the clerk put the phone in his pocket without hanging up and... more

I stupidly ignored the terrable reviews and payed the price. The location is good, but everything else is aweful. The entire house is filled with weird trinkets, and smells like an old person's house. I've stayed at a lot of B&B's, but never one that was run in such an unprofessional manor. DON'T IGNORE THIS WARNING!!! more

We stayed there a year ago, it was nice but a bit pricey. The room was large with a huge tub. The view was great in the morning we over looked the bay The art work/pieces were very interesting. If I had to use one word to describe it would be eclectic more

The view was beautiful but... there was no service to the room, there was no breakfast buffet, unprofessional innkeeper, main room is unkept, decorating disaster, run while you can! Do NOT forget you LOSE 25% if you leave early. more
