We have a lot of experience with high level inns and B&Bs, and also with lesser ones. This was one of the lesser. We stayed 3 nights, and will not be back. While our bedroom was well appointed, it did not have a dresser, but rather a fragile antique cabinet and a small closet for our belongings. The closet also... More

Thank you for selecting Blue Heron Seaside inn for your October visit to Boothbay Harbor. We are happy to know you found your room well appointed, clean and conveniently located to town. Although you felt the inn was 'comfortable', we regret you were not completely satisfied with your stay. Perhaps it was overlooked at your welcome briefing to explain all... More

This inn, located right on the water, offers spectacular views of the harbor from the deck. The breakfasts are excellent. And the owners and their daughters are very warm, inviting, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is pricey, but well worth it.

This was our first trip to Boothbay harbor. We chose the Blue Heron for the proximity to town and because the rooms looked beautiful. We were not disappointed! The location is perfect and the room was so comfortable --- it's a wonder we were able to get out of that big comfy bed! We enjoyed our mornings with Phil, Laura... More

A lovely location and beautiful clean, large and comfortable rooms make this place hard to beat! we had a wonderful two night stay with delightful home cooked breakfasts each day setting us up for exploring this gorgeous part of the country. The owners are helpful, friendly and genuinely welcoming, and we tried hard to think how we could improve the... More

We stayed at the Blue Heron Inn for six nights. The place is quiet charming, comfortable, roomy and exceptionally clean. It is only a 5 minute walk to the center of town. Breakfast was served every morning and was exceptional. Maria is an employee at the Inn. She is very nice and an exceptional cook. She works hard to keep... More

Extremely clean, six room inn within walking distance of shops, restaurants, docks, etc. Off street parking for six vehicles. We stayed in Room #1 which was large and well planned. Furniture was in very good condition and every lamp and switch worked. The bathroom was modern and very clean with no complaints of knees touching walls, no low water pressure... More

I'm a dedicated Bed & Breakfast fan and I love to try new ones. We spent one night here and I thought it was overpriced. We paid $240 for the room per night. Good Points: The room was spacious, with a view of the water and the hosts were friendly. The location is good if you are going to a... More

We are pleased to know you enjoyed your spacious first floor room and the harbor views during your brief one night stay at Blue Heron Seaside Inn. It's unfortunate you weren't able to use the kayaks. There are eight hours of kayaking opportunities each day around the revolving twelve hour tide. With your afternoon check in and evening engagement at... More

There are so many wonderful things about this inn and the couple who own and run it. When I started to actually think about what I could write that others hadn't written before, I came up with attention to detail...all the details. From the beautiful handmade molding to the hand painted wine glasses in our room. We started coming several... More

Our family of 4 stayed at the Blue Heron for 5 nights and couldn't have been more satisfied. The location was perfect. A nice 5 minute stroll to the quaint town center, the Inn itself had so much charm with every room having it's own character. The recommendations and directions Phil and Laura supplied were always spot on...and Laura's baking... More
