The hosts, Phil and Laura, are very nice people and do great jobs of making you feel welcome. The Blue Heron is in a good location and within 1 block walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We searched multiple sites to find a place to stay in Booth Bay Harbor and ended up staying at the Blue Heron because they had availability. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The web site is not deceiving. Every passer-by stops to look at the beautiful annuals out front. The breakfasts are delicious and added with some local color from Phil, the chef/host. Our hosts were accommodating, yet not overbearing. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with every detail provided. I can't say enough about this... more

This was our fourth stay at the Blue Heron Seaside Inn and it was just as fabulous as our first. The location, rooms and breakfasts are beyond compare. Laura and Phil are the perfect hosts. And Laura's gorgeous flowers get more beautiful each year! more

Very nice B&B in a great location. Great water views from room. Short walk to picturesque Boothbay Harbor and short drive to some wonderful places to visit (Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and pretty shoreline walks). The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about great places to visit. Good food. Highly recommended. more
