My wife and I booked a weekend getaway to Boothbay to the Fisherman's Wharf through Tingo but when we arrived onsite, the hotel was full. The staff at Fisherman's went out of their way to ensure we were accommodated however and secured us a room at their other owned property The Tugboat Inn. My wife and I have stayed there... More

Our Suite was clean and cozy with a balcony facing the bay. The first night while dining in the hotel restaurant (delicious steamed clams), we were alerted there would be a total lunar eclipse, the blood moon, that night. After dinner we retreated to our balcony and had the pleasure of watching the eclipse. The next morning we found the... More

the location is excellent, right at the harbor. The inn consists of a number of buildings, has ample parking space and the rooms are ok for a short stay. Breakfast is "continental", help-yourself and knives and forks etc. are all plastic. Pretty basic and, in my view, unacceptable. The knives are so cheap that I broke about 5 of them... More

The location is spectacular, right on the bay and within walking distance of the shops. They had a restaurant there as well so I didn't need to travel far for a bite to eat at night. It's in a good location if you want to take in a run or a nice walk in the morning as well. Overall I... More

We have stayed at Tugboat Inn 4-5 times in last 10 years. We always stayed in same room over the water on the Wharf. This time however , our stay was arranged only 2 days prior and our room was not available so we took a second floor room. Positive points are ... Rooms have view from rear door and... More

Very clean and well kept. Perfect location. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. The owner/manager took the time to show me different places in the area to take scenic photographs. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone

Our family has been going to Boothbay for 50+ years, but this is the first time I've stayed in the Tugboat Inn or even any Inn vs a house. If you're looking to be close to town, this is perfect as it's right there yet up the street a ways so much quieter. The Inn sits right on the harbor... More

Returned again to the Tug Boat. Requested previous room which they did accommodate us overlooking the Inner Harbor. Property is well maintained and very inviting. Our view from our room was somewhat obstructed due a large Yacht docked outside our room. The Management Company did pass on a credit to our charge card for the inconvenience. Will return next season.

We just visited for two nights starting Oct 1st. We stayed in the Crow's Nest and found it very, very clean and neat. It was quiet and perfect for our needs. Yes, the furniture is dated; but it was very comfortable. The free breakfast was just barely OK; I would skip it and go elsewhere.

The Tugboat is one of our favorite places to stay in this part of Maine. The room we stay in is quite small, but sits on a wharf over the harbor. The views at almost any time of day are breathtaking. I must have taken more photos of this harbor than any other place. Quite, serene... Idyllic. And the Tugboat... More
