We had a horrible experience with another hotel in Boothbay Harbor and just took a chance on calling the Tugboat Inn. Adam was great in ensuring he'd have rooms for us when we arrived and he in fact gave us keys to several rooms so we could pick the perfect view, etc. Thanks to Adam who went out of his... more

Having stayed at the Tugboat Inn several times we continue to enjoy the hotel. Very good location on the waterfront, the room was clean and the service was good. more

We stayed at the Tugboat Inn in Boothbay Harbor for two nights with our teenage daughters. We had stayed at the Tugboat 20 years prior and loved the location. They have added on extensively over the last two decades and still have the best location on the harbor. All rooms have ocean/harbor views. Full service diningm pub, marina etc. Rooms... more

Pros: Beautiful location, nice views, clean rooms, short walk to area restaurants. Cons: Not set up for business travellers at all. The only wireless or Internet access offered was in the lobby, and there was no business centre or table to work on, so I had to set up on a chair in their tiny (and busy) lobby just to... more

Only reason we choose this hotel is that our B/B was booked. In 7 years going to B.B. we have never not been able to book our rooms. The room is old, Bathroom tiny lino floor w/ cig burns, marlite bath inclosure, dirty, Housekeeping missed our room one day, towels didn`t dry so was told to come to office, no... more

We have just returned from our stay at Boothbay Harbor. The Tugboat Inn was a fine choice. Because we wanted a room with a view, the Tugboat Inn suggested "the Crow's Nest". We're so glad they did! The view, sights, and sounds of the harbor were all there, complete with sea gulls. It was also a very short walk into... more

I was exceedingly pleased how clean our room was, just like brand new. I found the room small but plenty adequate for the both of us and the view was amazing. We had dinner in the dining room and the food was good and it was a very pleasant experience from every aspect. The breakfast area was a bit crowded... more

WE spent one night at the Tugboat Inn and stayed at the very end of the pier on the first floor. The view from the room was great - you are right on the water and can see and hear all of the action in the harbor. This was the best part of our experience - the rest was downhill... more

The Tugboat Inn is not one of the fanciest places I've ever stayed but in 3 days it became one of my favorites. We stayed in the Tugboat Pier, room 126, which is at the very end of the pier. We were literally out over the water and thoroughly enjoyed watching the boaters, fisherman and wildlife from the chairs outside... more

Myself and a group of 17 friends stayed at this lovely Inn on August 24th weekend. The location was perfect. Beautiful view, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The front desk staff were friendly and checking in and out was quick and easy. Our room (located in above the lounge) was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and... more
