We just returned from Boothbay Harbor, staying at the Rocktide Inn for 6 days. Our room was clean with a great view. The complimentary.breakfast was horrible, same thing every morning. Scrambled eggs, sausage, baked beans, potatoes, quiche, oatmeal, and an assortment of coffee cakes. Both the egg dishes had more of an additive than eggs. Sausage was under cooked, potatoes... More

This is a really quaint place. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet, the bar (fantastic drinks) and the restaurant. It is very close to the footbridge to walk to town and everything else. Our room had a nice water view, was clean and maid service was great. Our beds were comfy too. We had a wonderful... More

I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the main lobby and restaurant. My food was very good and the staff was pleasant. My room was directly across from an ice machine which was very noisy but not a horrible thing. My room was much in need of updating. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable! Cheap, like lying on a platform of... More

Rocktide inn has a great location, and the restaurant has good food, and happy hour on the deck was awesome with a great view of the sunset, however the rooms have a little bit to be desired. The carpet was very dirty and needed shampooed. The bathroom was tiny and everything about the room was dated. Not really worth the... More

We stayed in rooms 155 & 156 which were the only ones available at time of booking. The booking agent assured us they had a cute porch with seating in front of each room and we wouldn't miss the water view - she was right! The beds were comfy, rooms tidy and our own Keurig for coffee. We were a... More

We normally stay at the Tugboat across the harbor, but decided to try the Rocktide. I found the room itself nice, well kept. The bathroom is a little dated. The continental breakfast is awsome in comparison to the Tugboat. Yesterday we had quiche, scrambled eggs, sausage, and many more items. The staff is very friendly, the rates are very reasonable.... I love Boothbay and we travel there once each year. We have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 or 6 years.I asked about some negative changes I had noticed and was told that the mother had died and the kids were in charge. CHANGES: All on line booking, previously I called and spoke to knowledgable long time employees, told them... More

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located – across from the “busy” side of the harbor, but close enough to walk. The famous walking bridge crossing the harbor is less than one block away and the hotel also runs a trolley. I had a “superior view” room facing the harbor on the Bridge... More

The hotel is right in the harbor, which is such a beautiful view every morning and evening. The hotel is very clean. Maid service everyday and our maid was very nice. The breakfast buffet every morning was great. The food was really good. Definitely a good value for the money. This hotel also has suite suites with jacuzzis.
