Boothbay harbor Inn is very conveniently located to the downtown area as well as being in a great location right on the water. We arrived on Friday afternoon, parked our truck and did not use it again until we were leaving Sunday afternoon. They have chairs and picnic tables in the grassy area right on the water which was a... More

Boothbay Harbor is one the most charming and beautiful places I have visited. The Inn was right on the water within walking distance of many shops and restaurants and a scenic drive. The staff and service was absolutely wonderful.

First, I have to comment on the gentleman who made my reservation for me. I think his name was Jason (?). He was super friendly, very patient with the questions I had, and made recommendations for what would be the best value for the price. His helpfulness set a great image of the Inn, even before we got there. Our... More

By no means the fault of Boothbay Harbor Inn but the entire weekend was fogged in. The Inn was fine , we got there early about 11:am but the valet advised us since they had but a few quest the night before we may be able to check in. And they accommodated us and had our room right on the... More

We didn't have a reservation but they had a room. A late evening call to the office and the room was held until we arrived later that night. The room was on the back side of the hotel but was larger than the standard double bed room. The room didn't feel cramped for our family of four. Breakfast was included... More

If you think of the New England seaside inns that you see in old movies, you're likely to come up with a place like Boothbay Harbor Inn. It's a sprawling two-story wooden building built right along the inlet that makes Boothbay Harbor. If you sit in one of the benches on their grassy lawn that faces the harbor, you can... More

Great location, restaurant okay. The room was small, and needed to be dusted, there was a layer of dust on the table and on the coffee maker. The shower curtain had a couple of stains, I'm hoping it was red lipstick. The shower had hair in it, 'Not Mine'. Breakfast was mediocre. Went for a walk after dinner, beautiful views... More

My family of 4 stayed here August 3-4 and we couldn't be more pleased! OK... the parking was a bit of a challenge, but I'm not a nitpicker about stuff like that--- I make do. But the management was wonderful, upgrading us to a bay view room without us asking and it couldn't be more pleasant. Sitting in the evening... More

We stayed here a night in Aug then returned 2 nights later after traveling (3 hrs) to Bar Harbor due to nice location, extremely helpful & friendly staff! Rooms were nice/clean ~ had everything we needed.First night we had a 2nd floor harbor view in main bldg; very nice. Second night we had a first floor, inner harbor view --... More

We were visiting Boothbay to visit family, and BHI worked out nicely. The room was fairly out of date and small- old tiny fridge taking up the table, one uncomfortable arm chair in the corner, low-quality sheets. BUT the toiletries were excellent. And the breakfast was okay (waffle maker, pastries, fruit, toast, coffee). Parking was easy and location convenient to... More
