This hotel was the surprise delight of our trip to New England. situated on the quiet side of the small coastal Maine town of Boothbay Harbor it has direct access to the cross harbour walkway which leads to the main part of town. Style wise the Inn is the typical modern wooden board construction typical of the area. What sells... more

Great view. Comfortable rooms, a super free breakfast! I think they were under new management...things seemed just a bit disorganized. In fact...I have JUST now been billed for a meal in the restaurant for a meal that was 5 months ago! The freezer had died the day before so the selection for dinner was very limited. A little loud at... more

We stayed during the Memorial Day weekend (2008). Sunday night the mood of the hotel turned into a frathouse!!! There were people doing things that you would not want your kids to hear and a picture frame was knocked off our wall. I will let you guess how. If you are looking for a quiet weekend, please stay with the... more

We came back last week from a three-day stay at the Boothbay Harbor Inn. I am still upset. The room comes with continental breakfast. The first day, we ate in the dark little "lounge" and bussed our own table that we had to wait for. There are only about five or so tables for guests. They had bagels, muffins, etc.... more

We just got back from a week on the coast of maine. What a beautiful place. We had a wonderful time except for the Boothday Harbor Inn in Boothday. I had spent hours on the computer trying to find the best places to stay. I called the hotel and requested a harbor view king room. When I received the confirmation... more

This is a midsized lodge-type hotel/motel with two floors. There is an annex which is also two floors but smaller. The two buildings face a mid-sized court which is right on the water. Most rooms either face the harbor or have water views via a shared balcony/perimeter walkway which is roomy and well-kept. The second floor room I stayed in... more

I just happened to be browsing through the reviews and although our last stay was in 2004, I have to agree the Boothbay Harbor Inn has changed. It's not the same place as it used to be. They haven't upgraded anything and it's become a "motel" rather than a hotel. We've always looked forward to eating at their wonderful restaurant... more

For our first trip to Boothbay Harbor we could not have picked a better place to stay. The veiw from the 2nd floor waterfront room was great. The room was clean with plenty of room for the 2 of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location next to the footbridge, we parked the car the day we arrived... more
