My wife and I stayed here as part of our New England tour. You cannot fault this place. It is right on the waters edge with views across the bay. The rooms are spacious with everything you need complete with a balcony. We had a harborside room as opposed to a cove room and these have better views There is... more

The staff were extremely friendly and hands on. Ken Brown was often in attendence! The restaurant was wonderful -especially with lovely lobster. The views from our room were splendid -right across the busy harbour to the busy section of Boothbay. If you are looking for "action" on your doorstep then perhaps this is not the place to go. However the... more

We loved our stay at this quaint motel on the harbor. The balcony off our room on the first floor made it feel like we were on a boat! Lovely time, especially with a glass of wine at sunset overlooking the harbor. Try the restaurant for excellent seafood with reasonable prices. more

Had a return visit to Brown's Motel. It is conveniently located and has a perfect setting on the water. Would recommend anytime. more

Just want to tell you how wonderful our stay at Browns Wharf Inn was. From the moment we were greeted and checked in by Mrs. Brown herself, until we checked out with Michelle in the morning, everything was friendly, courtreous and detailed. When we arrived we couldn't help but notice the lovely manicured flowers and how neat everything appeared. Since... more

I have been visiting Brown's Wharf Inn since 1987. I have so many fond memories--the accomodations are beautiful, best view of the harbor, the flowers all around the inn are gorgeous. The staff is friendly and accomodating. I started visiting there with my parents--I now bring my own family there. This place is wonderful--I don't want to stay anywhere else!! more

While this stay, as past stays at Brown's, have been nearly ideal, I do want to point out a couple of issues. One was smokers. There's no smoking in the Inn but guests can smoke on their balconies. Unfortunately, my wife and I had smokers on either side of us and it severely limited our use of the balcony (the... more

My husband and I went up for a long weekend for my birthday and had the best time! We stayed on the 3rd floor of the motel and found the room was larger than we thought it'd be. The king bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the balcony and seating were a plus, and everything was really clean. We... more

Easy to find with plenty of parking. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly agent. We booked a month ahead but all they had with a king bed was a cove side room. I recommend you book early to get a room on the front side and get one on the 2nd or 3rd floor for the best... more

We had a nice weekend at Brown's Wharf Inn. Yes, it is just a motel, but it is in a nice location, and is very nicely kept. I agree, the floors/rugs are filthy...our feet were black after walking on them for about 5 minutes. But everything else is neat and clean. We stayed on the cove side because that is... more
