My third visit to Boothbay, my second to Brown's Wharf Inn. I love this hotel. Yes the bathrooms and sink area are small, but the rooms, furnishings (real bedspreads) and the views are spectacular. This feels like a lovingly run family hotel, from the front desk staff, clean staff to the restaurant staff, everyone seems to know what their job... More

What an excellent visit! The room was nice and cozy, the view was amazing, and the food was great. We were only there for a short time but it was the most memorable stay of our entire trip! Who cares if the bathroom is a little small the rest of the experience is worth it.

Weather was pretty poor which didn't help! A walk in booking for two nights saw us in a 2nd floor harbor view room with balcony. The room itself was large, standard furnishing, clean and comfortable. But as also mentioned elsewhere the bathroom was a tad on the tiny side and I usually defend hotels on this score as I don't... More

Loved everything about Brown's Wharf Inn! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a first floor room on the Harbor side. What an awesome view! The room was beautiful, large, very clean, and nicely decorated! Loved the balcony too! Staff at the Inn was so friendly and very helpful. Lovely flowers too! The restaurant was delicious for dinner and... More

We just returned from a wonderful three night stay at Brown's Wharf. We have stayed here many times over the past twenty years and are always treated like family. The rooms are always extra clean and comfortable. The view of the harbor is fantastic. The dining room is excellent. We went to another local restaurant for dinner one night but... More

The bathroom is for small people. ALL OF 5X8 FT TUB-SHOWER TOILET -SINK RESTAURANT The steamers are long neck clams- better known as soft shell clams-or piss clams. They are found in the sand. Never have I found them a market or restaurant. Cut the neck off and hide them chowder. When I complained the man in charged said -THIS... More

We stayed here a few years back in a waterfront room and thoroughly enjoyed it. This year despite booking over a month in advance, there were no waterfront rooms available (we needed two). We booked Inner Harbor rooms which the website assures one that they will have a water view. Our room was 223 which had a great view of... More

We stayed here for one night. Room was clean, great views over the harbour, friendly staff! Very comfy bed. Lovely walk to the town, not far at all. All in all a great experience. Would definitely go back if we are lucky enough to be in the area. Thanks!

Excellent hotel with large rooms and balconies overlooking the gorgeous bay with all its boating activity, a fine restaurant with (of course!) great lobsters and efficient, pleasant staff. Even late in he season the hotel looked well cared for with colourful window boxes on all the courtyard facing balconies and, as a bonus for visiting Brits, a red telephone kiosk!... More

Gathered here for an early dinner with family, during a weekend wedding celebration. Waitress very nice, efficient. Nice ambience in dining room. Most of us had lobster...and we are a lobster- loving family....delicious! Cooked perfectly, sweet and juicy!! We all agreed that Maine lobsters taste better than Connecticut lobsters!
