We stayed in a king room at Browns Wharf Motel for one night . The staff is very friendly and helpful, room was immaculate and roomy. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony and view of the harbor. We didn't take advantage of the restaurant but it is right on site but closes at 8:30. If you... More

Room #316. We've stayed at Brown's every year for approx. seven years and we've never been disappointed. The feeling is a high-quality motel in a hotel setting, with incredibly helpful staff, a clean and comfortable room, a beautiful view over looking the bay towards town (with our room), and a nice size deck that aside from a small separation, is... I can't say enough good things about Brown's Wharf Inn. Our 10 day stay there was comfortable in every respect. I took one of the other reviewer's advice and made sure we were third floor, facing the harbor. The blankets and pillow cases were cotton instead of the usual polyester, the entire room, bathroom, and balcony were clean as a... More

This is a 2 * motel property charging 4 * prices. $200 per night mid-week for the cheap "side view" room. Room was clean, beds were fine, not too soft or hard. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. 15 min walk to the other side of the harbor which is where all of the shops & tours and most... More

During a 2 week trip through New England, we found this to be our favorite hotel. The views are spectacular, the staff is helpful and extremely friendly, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant was not opened yet when we were there, but we had a delicious complimentary hot breakfast every morning. It is in a good... More

Just stayed at Browns Wharf and Marina. My family and I stayed at the marina and we slept on our boat. We had such a wonderful experience all around. Very friendly staff, beautiful flowers, had a delicious breakfast. Last year we had dinner and that was lovely too. Whether you plan to stay in the Motel or at the marina,... More

My husband and I took my sister to Boothbay for her birthday. We stayed at Brown's Wharf Inn and had a lovely time. Our rooms were clean and bright with wonderful views of the harbor from our balcony. The only complaint about the room was that the bathroom was tiny. Very difficult for two to get ready in the morning.... More

This summer will be over twenty times we've enjoyed staying ay Brown's Wharf Inn. The front rooms are spacious with fantastic views of the busy harbor and lovely sunsets. Outside each room are beautiful flower boxes and a deck. There is a great restaurant downstairs with nightly specials and fresh lobsters. A short distance from the hotel is a footbridge... More

I know that we stayed just before the season began but this was amazing value. Location is stunning, with spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped rooms all with great views, (even the less expensive one that we were in). In fact the rooms were pretty close to being the best we've experienced in properties of this character. Add to that... More

When you walk into the room the harbor view is stunning. The room is clean but had an odd smell.Have never had a bathroom so small,I had to move from the sink, which is outside the tub area,so my husband could close the door to the lavatory. Not quite what I had in mind for a high price.
