On our recent trip to Maine we stayed at five different campgrounds from Bar Harbor to Kennebunk. We stayed here for two nights on our stop in Boothbay. If I could have cancelled my next stops to stay here longer I would have stayed. Nice place with large sites. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. It was an older... More

Well since we were from out of state we are always looking for WiFi campgrounds to research where we want to go and see for the time we are there. This place offered WiFi but it was very hard to get it. We did have them move us but still again we really did not get the service that we... More

Not sure what I was getting into when I booked this campground, but what a pleasant surprise. The sites are generous and well maintained. Staff was great. This is a very peaceful campground that will handle anything type of camping you have. Some wooded sites and open sites which is a nice choice. Some sites have wooded decks which is... More

My fiancé and I spent three nights here with another couple and really enjoyed the place. We loved the island and trail, it was very peaceful with a great view! The office / store was very helpful and well stocked - I had forgotten BACON! The hot showers were great. They also had a FANTASTIC band playing Saturday night, The... More

We parked our RV and had a great weekend despite 1 rainy day. Close to BB Harbor, the botanical gardens, and many other attractions. A quiet park with friendly staff and very clean grounds. A great place to stay.

Easy access to dump station. Pretty sites. We got a nice view of a finger of river. Tidal and so a mud flat at low tide, but still pretty. The shower room was a bit small and not heated, but clean. We would go back. Go to the Railroad museum about a quarter mile away. Great exhibits and layout.

We have a 35' Class A and it fit nicely into a secluded lot across from the laundry. Lots of privacy. They make it very clear at reservation time "cash only",so be prepared. Gated entrance and a small store. It is close the the Botanical Gardens, Southport Island, Baker's Island, Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor. east Boothbay is a short drive... More

I can't believe how opposite my experience was compared to the other recent reviews for this place. I was especially put off by the bad attitude of the staff. Pros: - Verizon 4G and full bars of service - Short drive to Boothbay harbor - Decent security, you need a keycard to drive into the campground so you can be... More

Firstly, they were very nice as to not charge us for a 3rd child who stayed home with a summer job. Many places won't do that. I found Shore Hills to be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Very clean and quiet despite being full. We took advantage of the laundry and the drier really dried the... More

These people go above and beyond for their campers. Every time I come Paula helps me park my camper. Jean is super friendly in the camp store. The bathrooms are clean with hot showes. Very dog friendly, which is a plus for someone who has two dogs. The grounds are meticulous! Very neat and clean. We love the large wooded... More
