We have a 35' Class A and it fit nicely into a secluded lot across from the laundry. Lots of privacy. They make it very clear at reservation time "cash only",so be prepared. Gated entrance and a small store. It is close the the Botanical Gardens, Southport Island, Baker's Island, Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor. east Boothbay is a short drive... More

I can't believe how opposite my experience was compared to the other recent reviews for this place. I was especially put off by the bad attitude of the staff. Pros: - Verizon 4G and full bars of service - Short drive to Boothbay harbor - Decent security, you need a keycard to drive into the campground so you can be... More

Firstly, they were very nice as to not charge us for a 3rd child who stayed home with a summer job. Many places won't do that. I found Shore Hills to be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Very clean and quiet despite being full. We took advantage of the laundry and the drier really dried the... More

These people go above and beyond for their campers. Every time I come Paula helps me park my camper. Jean is super friendly in the camp store. The bathrooms are clean with hot showes. Very dog friendly, which is a plus for someone who has two dogs. The grounds are meticulous! Very neat and clean. We love the large wooded... More

We stayed pre high season in late June. We stayed in one of the no electricity tent sites in the wooded area, nice. Camp was still quiet but starting to fill. Friendly long termers, a plus. Pet and kid friendly. Bathrooms clean surprised good hot water and pressure took for fantastic showers. We went with our two kids and chihuahua.... More

Have camped at Shore Hills for years - now retired and enjoying a seasonal site. Campground is well maintained, staff is friendly and always helpful to your needs. Water front, wooded, or open field sites suit all needs. Shore Hills gives you the experience of Maine's "the way life should be." A campers paradise!

On a summer trip up the coast in Maine. We stopped at Shorehills after reserving out 2 nights on line. What a nice place, clean shaded and it had it all. Big sites which gave you nice privacy, gravel and level. They had a large 50amp area for those who have mega motorhomes. The nicest part we enjoyed was the Sea... More

We spent a week in the one cabin on the site. It was clean and attractive, and had everything we needed and expected. There were three minor drawbacks (one of which is stated on the website) - it has 2 single beds, a bit complicated for a couple, the beds were quite saggy and soft, and there was no A/C... More

Our family stayed 4 nights on site #69. Beautiful views, quiet atmosphere, Bathrooms were immaculate. campground is pet friendly (a plus). The strict clean-up after your pet rule - great! Dog owners know what I mean. FREE canoe\kayak rental was a nice feature. Camp store had EVERYTHING. Amazing water views although tidal. Campground sites were clean and well spaced. Cannot... More

Nice campground right down the road from Boothbay. They have a shuttle service to downtown. Limited activities at the campground, but your activities should be at the beautiful shore of the Maine coast. RV sites are level and well planned and cared for by the hosts.
