My wife and I spotted the JEBH one weekend when strolling through the villiage. The next visit was staying at this B&B (great harbor views) and meeting Susan Bradley, her hospitality, comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast made this everything you could ask for. We will always stay at The John Ellison Bradley House. more

We go back to Maine frequently to visit but had not stayed in Boothbay Harbor. Sue Bradley gave us a wonderful time at her lovely B&B and is the best cook ever!! I am thinking of planning a trip back next Spring with a friend and will only plan a date that Sue has room for us. Great house, rooms,... more

We hadn't read the reviews before we went, but they are totally accurate. This location is perfect with outstanding views, charming rooms, comfy places to sit on the deck or in the lovely garden space, proximity to dining and shopping yet quiet and residential. The breakfasts were sumptuous and thoughtfully prepared according to our preferences. Best of all was the... more

The location was unbeatable (steps from downtown, but quiet at night), the room was very clean, there were lots of nice touches (fresh flowers, Bath + Body lotion, plush towels, etc), and the breakfast was SO good. One of us cannot eat gluten, and when we let the owner know in advance, she made special additions to the menu. We... more

We came up to Boothbay Harbor recently and were supposed to stay at another location nearby that boasted great views. Well, we were very disappointed. We had a sliver of a view and the deck didn't even face the right way. We decided to look at the Bradley B&B. We decided to stay at the Bradley B&B and are very... more

First time in Boothbay Harbor for our vacations. We were always going in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport for years. We had no reservations made anywhere. We showed up at the tourist information and asked for a place: very quiet, very clean, very charming and very cheap. The lady said: there is one place and she sent us to The John Ellison... more

I have just returned from my second stay at The Bradley House in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. A friend and I have travelled to the Maine coast for a week of relaxation for over a decade. Bed and breakfasts have been our destinations, but repeats of towns or accaomodations are rare. We happened up The Bradley House last year and knew... more

In July, 2009, my wife and I spent a weekend in the Bradley House. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the following things: • Your innkeeper, Sue Bradley, is a friendly and informed local who can help you get the most our of your vacation days. • Breakfast is memorably delicious and big. It can power you through... more

We have visited here a few times already and never tire of it. Sue Bradley is the real deal. She is a gracious host and makes you feel most welcome. Her breakfasts are absolutely terrific. You will not need to eat again until dinner. One of our favorite pasttimes while there is sitting on the deck with a cup of... more

I've stayed there 4 times and look forward to many more. The house itself is spectacular with a gorgeous interior and fabulous views from the rooms and the wrap around deck. Sue Bradley is the most accomodating hostess of all the b&b's I've ever stayed at including many places in Europe. I love being able to walk to the shops... more
