We stayed in Cedars 3 for 3 nights. What a huge disappointment this place was. First of all the accommodation was described as a 1 br suite. It was simply one large room, approx 12x17, with a king size bed, a rather tired and soiled loveseat, tiny kitchen area, and bathroom. The room needs updating and a paint job. The... More

We travel with a large dog and were limited with choices in the area. The town of Boothbay Harbor is a lovely destination. I booked in May for one night, they required full amount deposit at that time. If they'd charged $50 a night, I would have expected what we found, not the $113 (with tax) we paid. The property... We traveled in high season, the beginning of August. Check in was smooth although you had to go to the tavern to check in. On our way to our cottage, we passed the highly regarded pool only to find no one around and the water green. It would have been nice to be warned that the pool was not able... More

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 23rd anniversary by checking a trip to Maine off our bucket list. We discovered that finding the right accommodations 4 weeks before our departure was a real challenge. I Trip Advised my way to the Boothbay Resort and - as has generally been the case - it served us well. We flew... More

We stayed here for our Anniversary. We rented a lovely cabin (#3) that was just what we wanted. Private, clean and close to all of the tourist attractions. Pet friendly (although we left ours at home) The cabin was clean and very presentable. Extra towels were available cabin as well as an extra blanket. Air conditioner was in full working... More

We have lost count of how many times we have stayed at the Boothbay Resort, the latest being in September 2013. As always, our cabin was clean and the grounds were very well maintained. We love coming here with our dog because everyone with pets seems to be very respectful of everyone else. The property is blissfully quiet at most... More

We spent one night at the Boothbay Resort because we were traveling with our dog and wanted a pet friendly place to stay. We stayed in Cedars #5 which was small but clean. The owners were ok with us leaving our dog in his crate so we could enjoy the brewery tour and dinner at the tavern. My husband loved... More

Just recently spent a night in one of the Balsam cabins here and had a great time. The rooms were more than adequate, very clean with nice comfy beds. They had a nice frig and kitchenette though we didn't actually use it as we couldn't resist the brewery/tavern on site. We did swim in the pool which also was nicely... More

The Boothbay Resort is a great stay on so many levels. We have been bringing our family here every summer for many years and have never been disappointed. We've stayed in most all the cottages; Boxwood, Balsams, and Cedars, none of which you can go wrong with. They are always meticulously cleaned and are very comfortable to stay in. We... More

We spent three nights at Boothbay Resort with our toddler and my parents, and the Balsams cottage was comfortable, clean and met our need for some open space for our 18-month old to run around in. (Something a traditional hotel with single rooms would not have provided.) Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again because of the lack... More
