This inn and restaurant have been closed for several years and it is now a private home. We used to go there for breakfast which was quite good but it became mediocre over the past few years and we stopped going. The same goes for the dinners. This beautiful Inn has one of the most breath-taking views of the gorgeous Sheepscott River. The Annex, a separate wing from the main house, accepts pets...a huge advantage for families who consider their pets part of their vacation experience. We recently attended a wedding held at the Lawnmeer Inn. The staff was friendly and attentive, the Inn comfortable and charming, the food delicious. A memorable weekend - highly recommended! One note of caution...our room had no bath - just a shower with varying temperature of the hot and cold! Perhaps some rooms have baths? Other than that, very lovely.

We recently stayed here on our anniversary and were extremely disappointed. Although this inn looks very pretty on the outside - our room was extremely tired and worn.
