We've been there twice, one time in 2012 with friends and this year only my husband and I. We were there for a few days of holidays. Their site is clean and quiet and the cottages are nicely furnished and clean.

Very good value for the money. This motel/cottages is clean, hospitable and easily accessible to Portland and Kennebunkport. Although it is on a major road, it is very quiet in the room. Very good place to sleep and travel the area. It had adequate amenities and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Overall, it is a very reasonable place to... More

I would strongly advise against staying here. I feel like perhaps they had friends/family write the positive reviews. Rooms are a bit dingy, almost moldly smelling. They have zero flexibility regarding refunds. Staff seems uninterested in your quality of stay. If you want to get a good night of sleep, good luck. With the poor quality of shades and the... More

I only stayed here one night but I wish I could have stayed longer! This is what all motels should be like! The grounds were lovingly maintained, the exterior crisp and clean and well taken care of, the rooms were very spacious, including a full kitchen, and it was clean and comfortable. There was even an inviting front porch with... More

I stayed at this place last week with my daughter and grand-son. We had cottage 12 for the first three nights and motel 5 for the last night. Although a little dated, this place is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Criss who even tried to help us get our Frisbee out of... More

We spent three nights in the house sized cottage. The little house was very clean and cute. Decent sized bedroom with two double beds, large bathroom with bathtub and shower, living room with a pull out bed couch, sun porch , large eat in kitchen diningroom with regular fridge stove and microwave. We were pleased with our stay. The place... More

Last night, while visiting a friend in the area, I chose to try out D'Allaire's Motel and Cottages. Despite its age, the property is clean and very well-maintained. The host (Chris?) was friendly. The grounds were well kept and attractive. A sparkling swimming pool sits right behind the office. I also spotted a little playground for kids. I took one... More

Booked our trip for a few days in Maine here, as it was difficult to find a place to stay for only a few days near Old Orchard Beach. I was hopeful that since the last review, the insides of the cabins would be updated; I was wrong. While the outsides are charming and the grounds are well manicured, the... More

My daughter and I took a road trip to Maine and New Hampshire to experience some amusement parks, Maine coastline, and local cuisine. We stayed at D'Allaire's Motel and Cottages, and were very charmed by the quaint atmosphere and wonderful hospitality. The motel and cottages are well maintained. We were in the motel, and our room was clean, roomy, and... More
