We went for the skiing. We went for the skiing. We went for the skiing. I kept telling myself that! (And the skiing was AWESOME!! Absolutely no complaints, I found many Happy Places at Sunday River!) OK, let's start with the positives: - very friendly staff, esp. Deb who went out of her way to make you feel welcome; -... More

I've stayed at a lot of other ski resorts, and so far the Snow Cap Inn has been the coziest and enjoyable place I've ever stayed, so I'm kind of scratching my head about the negative comments. The reviews made me very nervous about staying here, especially since I was going to be sharing a room with three perfect strangers,... More

Description a little misleading on the Sunday River resort web site. The "Inn" was ok, rooms were clean but not over the top. The bathroom was sooo small and not heated. The heating system went on and off constantly and we had to actually shut it off to get any sleep, which meant sleeping in the cold room, which wasn't... More

If this place was not close to the mountain, no one would ever go to it. I have never been to a place where I wasn't as conscious of the owners saving money by not investing in it... Even when going downstairs to the ping pong table and going to the front lobby to get paddles: they gave us two... More

It was our first time in the Sunday River and Snow Capp Inn was the cheapest option. Overall we are not disappointed: great and welcoming staff (thank you guys), average but satisfying breakfast, free energy bars and 4 pm cookies, cozy common areas with fireplaces, stuffed with college kids outdoor hot-tub, clean room, shuttle (but we used our car). But... More

Sunday River is my favorite New England ski destination, bar none. Love this mountain, I have been coming up here for over 20 years! I got a ski and stay package at the Boston Ski Expo and the deal was unbeatable, 3 day lift pass with one free night and lessons for my newbie skier travel buddy all in. The... More

I don't need much but this place beings me back to my college days when walking into and freshman dorm. This place needs a serious update, A bit surprised the TV was even color but one of the earlier versions for sure, Bathroom is small for elfs, and the sink is in the room? Reminded me of my trip to... More

The Snow Cap Inn was pretty much everything a snowboarder could of asked for. Breakfast, storage room for snowboarding gear, shuttle to the mountain, outdoor hottub, two fireplaces to hang out at, and 4:00 Cookies. Yes they bring out fresh cookies at 4:00. The woman working the front desk, Sue was very helpful in recommending places to eat and answering... More

The main areas are very inviting with a gas fire place and comfy couches. I had pilled sheets on my bed. I opened the window because my room was too hot, but the window wouldn't close. The shade wouldn't open today. I had a room mate who needed a separate key but they didn't have one for her and didn't... More

Having never stayed here we weren't sure what t expect. The rooms are small and the heater was very noisy. Bed and pillows were OK. The room price was high for the quality of the room. They have a continental breakfast but we didn't partake.
