My wife, dog and I stayed only one night at the Chapman Inn but we were thoroughly satisfied. The Inn is very comfortable with a complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning & missed the famous blueberry pancakes-next time definitely! We stayed in the large room with kitchenette, dining room & 3 beds. The room was... We thoroughly enjoyed our recent one-night stay at the Chapman Inn in beautiful Bethel as we meandered through western Maine on our way from the coast to the White Mountains. Sandy was delightfully welcoming and accommodating, her full breakfast was terrific and made-to-order, and the inn's location was perfect for a stroll through town on the way to a friendly... More

We stayed here this summer, my husband, myself and our two sons. We were going to StoryLand but decided to stay in Maine for the night. Sandy was very nice. She made a great breakfast the next morning and the inn was quiet and comfortable. She directed us to a wonderful little pub restaurant that was in walking distance to... More

My backpacking group and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend on our way to the Grafton Loop. Everything was charming and delightful from the staff to the rooms to the decor. Sandra was accommodating about our late night arrival, was charming to chat with, and she even let us use the inn to store some gear in a pinch... More

I had the privilege of staying at the Chapman Inn for one night before a backpacking trip in Grafton Notch State Park. My friends and I arrived late and the owner (Sandra) was so accommodating, leaving us a note welcoming us and explaining where our rooms were. The Inn is very charming and decorated in very idyllic Maine style. Our... More

My partner and I very much enjoyed our stay at this comfy, cozy inn. What made it even better were Sandy and Terry, the Inn's proprietors. They made us feel right at home! Their homemade blueberry muffins in the morning are not to be missed! The central location to the shops and restaurants on Main Street in Bethel was an... More

Centrally located and within easy walking distance to most of Bethel's eateries, historical landmarks, golf and the Androscoggin River walkway, among other things of interest. Built in the mid 19th century, the inn oozes the style and decor of that period.with facilities to meet modern needs without compromising its historical ambiance. Most rooms have private baths and some with AC.... More

what a beautiful old Inn! I love the antiquity! Location was wonderful for the town. Hostess was the greatest! wonderful breakfast made to order! Very friendly and very accommodating! Hostess was very helpful with suggesting places to visit and eat and how to get there. Even helped us with finding a wild moose to see! Very nice lady!

Stayed here 23rd June, for one night. Prebooked the room in advance, so we knew we had somewhere to stay, after being out all day on a sight seeing drive and walking trails. We were greeted by the lady owner, who made us feel really welcome. Our room was No.8 and was shown to it by one of her grandkids,... More

We enjoyed working with Sandra at the Chapman Inn. She was so welcoming and friendly. She made us feel at home right away. The Chapman Inn provides comfortable accommodations to meet the needs of most all budgets. As others have stated, breakfast was excellent.
