Grand old house among beautiful mountains, lovingly maintained. The hosts were efficient and courteous without being overwhelmingly present. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. And what a wonderful breakfast, we loved the shirred eggs, although it is probably best not to have them too many days in a row! The owner had many very useful suggestions on local excursions.... more

Room #2 does not have adequate lighting, wallpaper is peeling, the decor does not do justice to the beauty of the Victorian house and the hospitality here was no better than in an average motel. The breakfast selections were adequate, but not inspired. We feel that The Victoria Inn does not match up to our expectations for a quality Bed... more

Visited this lovely inn in Bethel Maine on a leaf peeping trip. Very quiet little town but charm was in the Inn. Stay in Room 4 with added parlor. The best pancakes ever for breakfast, and they offer wonderful dinners as well with extensive wine list! more

We spent three nights at the Victoria Inn, eating in the restaurant all three nights. We received a warm welcome and were allocated a well equipped attractively furnished room. The only downside was that the room was a little on the small side; however, this did not really matter as we spent little time there. The decor throughout the hotel... more

I actually wasn't planning on staying the night in Bethel, but decided not to drive all the way back to Portland. I first asked at va local landmark Inn and got a rate, but opted for the Victoria because for the same price, I'd get a breakfast. The room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom seemed to... more

Based on the rates and dinner discount, we expected a standard 3 star. The Victoria Inn is a 5 star, as long as you do not need an elevator or wi-fi. We were in room 1, our friends in room 4. Both very clean, spacious and great big beds. The restaurant is one of the best in Maine. The lobster,... more

The Victoria Inn is by far the best place I have ever had the priviledge to stay. I have been in many hotels/inns all over this country, and none compare to the quality and enjoyment I got from staying at the Victoria Inn. The owners are dear sweethearts who try to accomodate the guests' wishes as best as possible. The... more

My husband and I were in the area for only one night. We arrived late (after 8:20) and were still welcomed by one of the owners who showed us immedialty to our room. The lobby and dining rooms had a lovely citrus smell and the place had a wonderfully cozy feel. The day had been really hot (over 90) and... more

Great overall experience - would strongly recommend to people visiting Bethel / Sebago Lakes area of Maine. Went up to visit our son at camp in Waterford. Very glad we stayed at the Victoria Inn in Bethel - very elegantly decorated inside. The owner, Stacey, is wonderful - the Inn provides cookies in the room at check-in and when we... more

My husband and I stayed in Room 1 at the Victoria Inn. The Inn was so romantic and cute, the room was great! Clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, which was nice after a long day of snowboarding at Sunday River. The bathroom was clean and updated even though the house was older and had that victorian charn, it... more
