We really enjoyed our stay in Mill Hill Inn. We took the smallest room because only it was available. The price was good and the room was lovely, really. Lee & Woody Hughes were nice and lovely hosts and it was fun to drink with them a glass of wine before dinner and chat about this and that. Dinner which... More

We stayed four days here while visiting New England as part of our 2014 US holiday. The Inn is a lovely old barn conversion and our room was large and comfortable. Woody and Lee were amazing, welcoming hosts and the relaxed atmosphere made us feel as if we were staying with friends rather than in a B&B. Breakfast was what... More

Lee and Woody Hughes are the greatest hosts! The Inn is full of life . Dinner was outstanding, I especially enjoyed the broiled halibut. Nice selection of reasonable priced wines. A local band played some of my favorites of all time. The town has a number of great outdoor opportunities and we hiked around. The beds were the most comfortable... More

I have never been a fan of B&B’s because I usually felt out of my element with the other guests or the hosts. We couldn’t have been happier with the Mill Hill Inn. Lee and Woody are very welcoming hosts who we enjoyed chatting with. We honestly felt like we were staying with relatives. The Inn is a beautiful building... More

Nothing like a long weekend with Lee and Woody. Three hour drive from Boston to Bethel, worth every second. Very casual, always meet friendly visitors. Food and drink, top notch. Breakfast, you get what Woody cooks....no choice....but who cares..... always great. Dinner, casual, but first class. Save room for Lee's homemade chess cake with raspberry sauce. Sunday River Ski Area,up the road. Golf Course, next door.... More

We arrived on Friday afternoon and spent two nights out of our 8-day trip; this was our home-base to explore the White Mountains area. The Inn is wonderfully furnished and the owners are the nicest couple; Lee and Woody, oh, and their dog is super cool, too, Pablo! The other guests were very friendly, too, and gave us many good... We recently stayed at the Mill Hill B&B in Maine. WOW!! What a unique experience. If you stay there on Th/Fr/Sat, they have an incredible restaurant (B&B owner is the cook). Great food, unique menu. Also, they have a bar in their "Living Room" (at least that's what it feels like) where you can "belly up to the bar", have... More

When away from home on a long trip, this place feels like coming home. The Mill Hill Inn in Bethel, Maine, is a must! It was a really wonderful and special experience to stay at the Mill Hill Inn from Saturday to Sunday on the 13-14th sept. 2014. The atmosphere was unique, and because of the many local guests gathering in... This past weekend I stayed at The Mill Inn and it was by far the best B&B Experiance that I have ever had. The innkeepers Lee and Woody Hughes were very welcoming and the inn is so beautiful! Situated in the town of Bethel, I took a 1-2 minute walk and was able to see the mountains draped in amazing... More

We arrived in Bethel late afternoon on a Sunday after a long drive from Nova Scotia, without any idea of where to stay. Just happened to see the Millhill inn. It looked like the only one open. Our innkeeper, Woody greeted us warmly and offered us a choice of very comfortable rooms and a hot coffee. The price was very... More
