Spent one night at the Sudbury Inn. Price was reasonable, but the room was getting long in the tooth (worn carpet, non-functioning electrical outlets). It could also have been a little cleaner. Breakfast was very nice, however.

We were in Maine to visit family and this was a convenient location for us. We stayed 2 nights in room 12 with a king size bed; mattress and pillows were comfy. I also loved the wingback chair in the corner for some cozy book reading. The private bath was spacious with room to hang clothes and set up a... More

We had a nice stay in Bethel during our journey through the New England States in the USA. We were on the road from Acadia to Chicago. We did not book any accomodation in advance and were looking for some nice place. The welcome at the the B&B was realy nice: Well let us see what we can do for... More

Good Friday just became Great. Beautiful seat by fireplace -- baked Brie and mussels appetizer. Both amazing. Fresh bread right out of the oven. Donna made me an amazing Cosmo (2). Shrimp scampi, scallops special and filet all perfect. It was so good, we had to try the creme brûlée and profiteroles We'll be back soon. Thanks!

After a long day of kayaking and a reservation that fell through the Sudsbury was recommended by a local waitress. Well guess everything happens for a reason. Our room is clean and large, king size bed with 2 twins for the kids. Perfect way to end our exhausting day!

We have stayed at the Sudbury Inn three times over the past 4 winters. Our last visit was early January 2014 and will likely be our last. Although we want to love this place, the owners have been away and the staff left to run the place. We know this due to the many comments we heard from the staff... More

Check-in was friendly, the room was great, the pub's food was good, though the wait staff took some coaxing to smile, the bed was comfy - and are you kidding me?! - our second floor room felt like it was in the middle of the noisy basement bar! When the live music began in the bar, we realized that the... More

The Sudbury Inn is a charming place even though the rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. We had dinner at the pub which is very conveniently located downstairs at the inn. The food and service was great. The included breakfast which was served in the dining room was not that great and the choices very limited.

The Suds Pub is a must if you are visiting Bethel. The diningroom at the Inn is excellent but the rooms are horrid. They are outdated and uncomfortable. The room we stayed in had no night side table. The hole where the smoke detector was suppose to be had wires hanging out but no detector. The only light that worked... More

just got back from staying at the sudbury inn, in the carriage house apartment with 7 other people. The apartment is huge and reasonably priced, i have stayed on the mountain many times, and the condos you stay in there are generally much smaller and much more expensive. The food store and pub are both within walking distance, and for... More
