My wife Gill and myself have just returned from our very first trip to the United States. And we could bore you to death telling everyone what a wonderful time we had. In fact we do! However, we would be very churlish indeed if we don't give a mention to the Penobscot Bay Inn. We're so glad that Wanderbird Expedition... more

This is just a beautiful Inn. The innkeeper is so nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and pretty. I would definitely stay here again. Their prices are very fair. But the best thing.... they make the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life ! more

This place is a gem. Clean, super friendly, great location, plus good breakfast! Looking for a quaint stay for your weekend in Maine? This place is it. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are bright, large, and clean. The inn sits rights off Highway 1, 30 minutes north of Camden and an hour from Bar Harbor. Great nearby restaurant... more

I am remodeling my house in Belfast,as my neighbors were so supportive, I invited all of them for Sunday brunch at the Penobscot Inn. We had great service, great food, in our own private dinning room! Very good experience, Thanks to all at Penobscot Inn.! Betty M.Jump,40, Mayo street, Belfast ME. more

The Penobscot Bay Inn offers a wonderful atmosphere for an incredible value. It is a great winter getaway in Maine. The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. In fact, in retrospect we wished we had dined Saturday night as well at the Inn's restaurant. The meal we had on Friday was so delicious and the atmosphere was so... more

There were not many people staying here when we did. We thought we might get a decent price as it was not high season. I think we paid way too much for what we got. They wanted to put us facing the field instead of the highway for about $50 more. I should have done it as I didn't get... more

Clean and comfortable room, with a distant view of the bay. Don't book this Inn just for the view. When we were there two days, it was so foggy, you couldn't see much of anything. But, the beds were comfortable, the bath and double bed room spacious, there is a tv, small coffee pot, and small fridge in the room.... more

We had dinner and stayed over during mid-week in January at the Penobscot Bay Inn on the coast of Maine's Penobscot Bay. There are about 20 rooms split between 2 buildings and our room was facing the Bay with a deck and great view. The dinner in one of several dining rooms was excellent. The choices were many and varied... more
