The White House Inn is a perfect getaway in a beautiful town. This is our second time here, and it was just as good as the last time. The Inn itself is comfortable, clean, and relaxing—and the breakfast is excellent. We showed up for a little break from city life, and it was perfect. We took walks down to the... More

Gorgeous, well-maintained historic building with beautiful grounds and an excellent host. The bed was so comfortable and such high quality (soft, silky) sheets, I never wanted to get up. Breakfast was great as well. I'd highly recommend for any type of getaway.

An amazing fall weekend getaway. The Whyte House is beautiful and in a great location. Even better are the charming hosts. They are delightful and a perfect balance of helpful, yet respectful of privacy. Can't leave out the amazing breakfast. You will not be hungry for lunch.

A reunion of old friends leads to two new ones (Hosts Diana and Sandy Rich at The White House Inn)! My college fraternity group (1960's, Michigan State U.) and our wives (23 of us in all) recently enjoyed a four-day reunion in Belfast, Maine, and environs. Eleven of us filled the six rooms at The White House Inn where the... More

We stayed one night at the White house in late August. It was an extraordinary Inn with wonderful, very gracious hosts, Diana and Sandy. The room was so elegant and had an attached sitting area with single bed for our 14 year old daughter. We had our own bathroom and everything was so elegant, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was... More

This was our first stay at the White House Inn in Belfast and our experience was absolutely more than we had hoped for. The room was stunning, the house magnificent, and Belfast is a great place to spend slow and casual days. What makes the White House Inn outstanding is the hosts, Santiago and Diana. They are gifted in providing... More

We decided to go try out a new destination this year for our annual girls get away and boy, are we glad we did! The White House Inn is a charming place to hang your hat and Belfast is small enough to not be intimidating but big enough to find new things every day of our vacation! The Inn is... More

Our four day stay at The White House Inn was wonderful. Our room was lovely with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Each morning, Diana and Sandy prepared a different and delicious breakfast...fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins, coffee cake and great eggs and the best coffee! They are gracious hosts who made our stay great fun and very... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White House Inn. It is immaculate, spacious, and lovely. Diana and Sandy could not have been more gracious, accommodating and considerate hosts. And, as several others have noted, the breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. A+ on all counts!

When we arrived at the White House Inn, Dianna warmly greeted us. She showed us around the lovely inn. It is both elegant and beautiful. Our room was located upstairs and was furnished just as lovely as the inn itself. The breakfasts that we had were outstanding, fresh ripen fruit, a sweet pear coffee cake one day, the next day...
