This was our first opportunity to stay at Belfast Bay Inn but it certainly will not be the last! We've been to Belfast many times, which in itself is a treat, and this Inn is absolutely worth the five star rating it receives over and over again. Don't be put off by the rate. Most rooms are suites - not... More

I love this charming Inn - This was second trip there and certainly not my last! The place is well located (on the main street) and has the most delightful innkeepers - During my last season (off season) they were not serving breakfast unfortunately, but this month they were serving it in the courtyard behind. The suites are extremely large,... More

Stayed here for one night of luxury on a very much more basic road trip. It was almost worth it. We got a reduced rate (still very high) because we arrived late in the day and they had a cancellation. The room was great, comfortably appointed with a fireplace. Delicious breakfast was brought to our room. Staff was very friendly... More

We discovered Belfast Bay Inn last year as we were on our way to Jonesport Maine. Though located right on busy Main St. you wouldn't know it once your inside. Its a piece of heaven. From the moment I called to make the reservation until we checked out we were treated with the utmost graciousness. They even made dinner reservations... More

Upon returning from a road trip to Prince Edward Island & Nova Scotia, my girlfriend & I stumbled upon the most Charming Hotel adjacent to the cove in Belfast, ME.It exudes old world, European amenities, a private courtyard & complementary breakfast served by the owners. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated with a mix of glistening chandeliers, antiques, and... More

Some friends had recommended The Belfast Bay Inn as a place to stop and break up our trip. So glad we listened!! The room(Suite 301) was a beautifully finished apartment. The owners were very professional and helpful. The only problem was I couldn't get my girlfriend out of the bed! She loved the linens and mattress, said they were too... More

We just "happened" upon Belfast while on a driving vacation through Maine. So glad we spotted the Belfast Bay Inn on Main Street, and walked in. Fortunately, there was one room left. The owners showed us Suite 303 (which was actually a beautifully decorated apartment) and we were "sold". The wonderful owners, Judy and Eddie gave us several nice recommendations... More

We enjoyed our visit to Belfast and staying at the Belfast Bay Inn. Every thing from check in, the room, the owners, and location is 5 star. Parking at the front door. Over night parking behind the Inn. The Inn is a first class Inn.

From the moment we pulled up to the front door., the pampering began. Eddie and Judy( owners ) are both so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was staying in a Palace. The rooms are decorated beautifully. The bed was so comfortable. This is definately the place to stay if you in Belfast or even close to here. I... More

When you arrive at the hotel in the middle of the sleepy harbor town of Belfast, the Main Street exterior (c. 1850) has a very unassuming facade. But the moment you step inside, you realize you are in for a real treat as you discover the results of the innkeepers’ three-year complete renovation. We stayed on the 2nd floor in... More
