The inn is just beautiful and absolutely spotless, while being comfortable and inviting. Rachel is a wonderful chef and baker, we couldn't have asked for better. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! It is close to everything and easy to get to from the Highway. We would never stay anywhere else in Bath!

Dear Deidre & John, Thank you for the lovely write up. Your stay at the inn made it great for both Ken and I, and Johnny too! My only hope is you'll make a return visit, and Ken will make you laugh with some more of his stories. Until we meet again. Best Regards, Rachel & Ken More

Highly recommended. It's a beautiful property, tastefully renovated, a short walk to downtown Bath, and around the corner from Maes, which is always worth a visit. Rachel and Ken are excellent hosts, outgoing and very down to earth. Rachel's baking (brownies and scones) is first rate, so don;t miss breakfast! All that, plus it is quiet, with amazing beds and... The Kennebec Inn is quaint, dignified and spotless! The hospitality is extraordinary... Ken & Rachel are at once warm, down-to-earth, friendly, intelligent - and very well-informed about the area. The beds are excellent, the rooms are clean and cozy. Many inns are "overdone" with far too much in the way of decor and "tchohkes" (ornaments). The Kennebec is done in... More

The Kennebec Inn was the first B&B we stayed in on a 14 day trip through Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont this October. After a long trip from Boston, traveling along the coast and stopping at various places, we were glad to reach Bath and the Kennebec Inn. First off, the Inn was very easy to find, just off the main... More

We stopped In Bath on our way back from Bar Harbor and decided on the spur of the moment to see if there was a room available at The Kennebec Inn. Rachel remembered us from last year and had a couple of rooms free so we were in luck. Still has the excellent service as described in my review of... More

What an amazing place! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. There were 2 large homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. The owner Rachel was wonderful and immediately made us feel right at home. She gave us great recommendations for dinner, and other places of interest. The inn is a short walk to downtown where there are many shops... More

I cannot say enough about this B&B! My wife and I stayed here two nights in August 2013 and enjoyed every minute. Wonderful hospitality and Rachael was a fantastic host and fantastic cook. Bath is a good central location to visit other areas within an hors drive.

We stayed at the Kennebec Inn Bed and Breakfast for one night. I wish it were longer! Rachel, the proprietor, is lovely, and so was our room. It was bright, clean, lots of windows, and very comfortable, with a private bathroom. The dining room is large and attractive. I want the kitchen in my home. The breakfast was perfect, and... More

Very welcoming. WONDERFUL breakfast. Extremely clean, well kept and comfortable. Thank you Rachel, Ken and Johnny for being such great hosts. They have good knowledge of the area and made some excellent recommendations for day trips and dinners. Will definetly stay again next time we are in Maine. Thanks again, Collin and Heather
