We were traveling to Northern Maine and didn't want to stay in a hotel chain or drive far off the highway. The Kennebec Inn was a very comfortable and hospitable place to stay. The owner was very friendly and gave us several suggestions for dinner.

We wanted to make a pilgrimage to LL Bean for a holiday shopping spree, but wanted to stay somewhere that was away from the touristy bustle of Freeport. The website looked good so I took a chance and booked the Remington Room at the Kennebec Inn in Bath, about 15-20 minutes north of Freeport. It was a good choice. The... More

My husband and I stayed for just one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful inn and Rachel was a sweetheart! The room was large and furnished with taste. Breakfast was delicious, plenty to eat! We hope to visit again when the pool is opened.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. Rachel, the owner, was extremely helpful and gave us awesome tips on where to go and what to do. The room was clean, comfortable, and super cute. We arrived a bit late to this lovely B&B and Rachel was waiting for us despite the late hour! In fact, she was such a sweetheart that she called a local restaurant to make sure they would stay open if we drove over for dinner! Needless to say our entire three night stay was simply marvelous. The breakfasts and company... More

This is really easy to write - superb hospitality and a great host. Thank you Rachel for such a lovely stay. Our room was large and very comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally clean. Rachel's advice on places to visit and eat were spot on. Her breakfasts are delightful and it was lovely to share experiences with the other guests -... More

I would recommend this lovely b&b. The rooms were charming, clean, and comfortable. Rachel, owner, was helpful with touring suggestions, directions, and dining places. The four of us stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. The food was presented nicely, cooked perfectly, and Rachel was attentive and friendly. The location on a main street was initially disappointing but this... More

We stayed here 2 nights during our New England road trip. Our host, Rachel, was very friendly and welcoming giving great advice on where to eat and suggested places to visit. The room, in this beautiful house, was very comfortable and it was nice seeing Johnny (gorgeous dog) each time we returned to the house. The breakfasts were wonderful, my... More

This is a lovely B&B, the room is spacious and very clean. Rachel was a superb host and was so helpful with explaining local places to eat and visit. The breakfast was delicious and if Rachel makes home made blueberry scones you are in for a treat, best I have tasted.

We spent two nights at the Kennebec Inn, attracted by its excellent TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed! The Kennebec Inn is a Colonial style house decorated and furnished in a tasteful, classical style. It is very centrally located, less than 15 minutes walk from the centre of the town. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rachel, our delightful host,... More
