Loved this place--location was decidedly non-touristy, the breakfast was perfect, and the owner was warm and wonderful. The rooms are simple and the place is no-nonsense. My only complaint is that the restaurants on this side of Mt. Desert are overpriced and of poor quality. Eat in Bar Harbor, hike all over the island, and stay at the Bass Harbor... more

This is one of the many "inns" that you'll find in Maine - basically a bed and breakfast. This place was more reasonably priced than most places in Acadia, so I gave it a try. I was very happy there.
