I would NOT recommend the Comfort Inn for anyone looking for an airport hotel. Even though they advertize a free shuttle to the airport, they don't have their own van. Instead, they contract out to several local taxi companies. We had very bad service both coming and going from the airport. On the way there, the taxi was a decrepit... more

This is an older property that looks like it has been upgraded in some areas. It was very clean but the room was small. The bathroom had a heat lamp in the ceiling which was nice and the sink was outside the bathroom. There was plenty of hot water and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. However there was... more

Although some might think this is a city hotel at first glance, let me tell you its a little better. First of all, Bangor is a nice town, a great place to stock on your supplies should you be going somewhere else with the attractions nearby. Anyway, the hotel seemed new from the outside, on the inside it looks a... more

Stayed here with a large group during a rainy weekend. The rooms are average but nothing to complain about. The location of the hotel is quite nice as it sits off of a highway along a major strip of restaurants and shopping. Since I traveled to Bangor via bus, I could only walk to the nearby establishments which proved to... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Bangor just recently and were absolutely happy with our choice. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and they made sure that the dishes were replenished constantly. As for the price, it was almost a steal. I will recommend... more

I recently stayed here with my children as it is nearby the University of Maine where a championship they competed in was being held. Other friends of ours and their children also stayed here. It turned out to be a good decision as we were all pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the hotel is convenient to restuarants and supermarkets(it's... more

My teenager and I stayed for one weeknight Sept. 2007. I chose this hotel because it was close to the University of Maine (only 5 minute drive) and was the best value compared to others in the area. We paid less than $100 for the night. Cons: Walking through the parking lot when we arrived, I thought it was rather... more

Now that we're UMO parents we're trying out the options for local stays during school events. This room was definitely a step up from the Fairfield where we stayed last Feb. Reservations were easy to make here as opposed to other local inns like BW that are very difficult to reserve. Our room was clean and bright and the king... more

I swore off this hotel 2 years ago. Then I signed up for the credit card bonus and decided to give them another try. I used points for my stay. The clerk at reception was very friendly when checking in. I was assigned a first floor room. The room I received was spacious enough. I had a fairly comfortable King... more
