We have been coming here for 14 years, and every year, love it more. The innkeepers are like family, make you feel comfortable. Breakfast is included, and is delicious, consisting of three courses, juice and coffee, all in a quiet, relaxed dining room. Dinner is also available to room guests, and is equally as delicious as breakfast. Rooms are perfectly... More

We spent three nights at the Log Cabin Inn at the end of July in the Mount Washington room. The room itself was huge and had a perfectly well appointed kitchen and amazing private hot tub on the deck. If I had one complaint it was that there were either a bulb or two missing in the lamps or the... More

This was our second trip to the Log Cabin Inn. Our first was two years ago, also in July. We loved it so much, we had to go back! We had traveled to Bailey's Island many times growing up but stayed in Cook's Motel which was simple but sufficed. The Log Cabin Inn is a piece of heaven. Gorgeous gardens,... More

The Log Cabin Inn is cut above any other hotel on Bailey Island. It sits atop a bluff with a great view of the water from every room. It's private and quiet with lovely gardens and a heated pool. You get a warm welcome upon arrival. Feels like it is family run but I'm not sure about this. Walking distance... More

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. What you notice first is how well maintained the property is, with all the colorful flora and attractive landscaping. Friendly staff. Our room was huge. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy living room. King bed. Spotless bathroom. Big deck, private, with a perfect view of the water and the afternoon sun. Home-style breakfast included. Everything about... If you're just looking for peace and quiet, a clean room, and a nice breakfast, try the Log Cabin Island Inn. You either have a deck or a little patio to yourself, or you can lounge on the grounds overlooking the bay. Either way, you will find yourself relaxing, and you won't want to leave.

We came in without a reservation and were met with very friendly service. Our room had the most incredible view of the waterways, and we sat out on our deck enjoying the sunset. The roo as clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast, included in the price, turned out to be a three course meal! If you're visiting the island,... More

We had a great time at the Log Cabin! The room was nice, clean, and very homey. From the pictures on the wall to the views of the Merriconeag Sound, and Mt. Washington over 90 miles to the west, this place is an oasis of relaxation. Breakfast, is included with the room, and is fantastic. The staff are very friendly.... More

We loved this place and rented the upstairs Washington room. It was heaven. We had a hot tub overlooking the water and across the bay you could actually see the peak of Mt Washington in New Hampshire. It was great for star gazing as well as watching the amazing sunsets. We enjoyed the kitchen also so grabbed a few lobsters... More
