Food poor and shocking service. Really poor wine list. Brilliant location but locals don't go there. Tourists and day visitors keep the place going. South Queensferry deserves better. But the management know that the tourists will keep coming so no need to improve.

I've dined at Orocco Pier quite a few times and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special for a dinner out. The food is gorgeous and the service has always been second to none. The cocktails are really good too. The views of the bridge are amazing - if you can be seated next to the window... More

Bit average all round really. Made a trip through from Glasgow especially, as we'd never been here before. It sounded like a smart place but tbh I was disappointed by most of it. The music is too loud - and not just too loud but a really awful selection of tracks. Really nasty sounding plastic indie sounds. You find yourself... More

We go to orocco pier regularly for morning coffee and always love the view. We decided to go to the main restaurant in the hotel for boxing day,the room is decorated really nicely and staff friendly but that is where the compliments end. It took nearly two hours after we put in our order , for us to receive our... More

It is a few years since we were last here & we were delighted to see it has had a full refurb & is looking fantastic. It has a real feeling of luxury with comfortable seating and sumptuous textiles. Huge windows allow you to take full advantage of the wonderful views. Joy, our waitress, was attentive & efficient. Food was... More

Hotel is lovely, have stayed a couple of times for 'work nights out'. However the room I stayed in although lovely and clean there was far too much funiture in the room. There was a chaise lounge at the end of the bed and for some reason only known to the hotel 2 little coffee tables, one of which I... More

Had a lovely meal over looking the Forth bridge on a wet and wintery day. The attentive staff gave us a warm welcome, the food was great and not too expensive. Can recommend the hot chocolate. The large windows over looking the estuary were great to sit at and watch the rain and trains go over the bridge.

Interior is beautiful service was great... Felt welcomed as soon as we walked into restaurant... I ordered the calamari and I thoroughly enjoyed them... Squid was cooked to perfection, batter was light and crispy... My partner had the smoked haddock fish cakes and I have to say they were out of this world... For my main I had the 3... More
