We have seen negative comments about the Budget Inn in Vidalia and true enough, it is a work in progress, but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasent one. I had read an online review about this hotel that said it was "okay" if you were "passing through". I beg to differ. We ended up at the Budget Inn in Vidalia after finding no open rooms in nearby Natchez. The room was quite possibly the worst we have ever stayed in. The room looked as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The bathroom was so disgusting that we did not even brush our teeth in the sink... more
