Stayed in September 2013. It isnt the Ritz but if you need somewhere to crash for inshore or before or after an offshore run i'd recommend this place. The store has plenty of convenience items any anglers will need before hitting the water. The restaurant and bar next door have full menus and beverages and it overlooks the docks where... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while we took a chartered fishing trip. It's a clean and new hotel. Newly rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina but you can tell it was rebuilt cheaply. Very thin walls and floors. The rooms were nice and the kitchenettes were a plus but I can only imagine the noise through the walls if this hotel... More

This may have been a nice place once but those days are over . There is remodeling going on and in the cheapest way possible showers are being reworked with what looks like a mix of fiber glass and spackle. Rooms are small and expect a lot of noise from the docks

My Husband and I stayed two nights while he was fishing with several co-workers who also stayed here. Out of the 9 people in our group, I did not hear any complaints at all. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the resturaunt was very good and even thought they were... More

I stayed here for a weekend for fishing the Gulf rigs. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a minimal store next to the lobby for basic needs. The hardware down the road is very well stocked with plenty of marine and fishing supplies. While the room was mostly just a place to crash, everything... More

I have been down twice. The room are always clean and the cleaning crews are very nice. There is a restruant on site with wonderful food. Internet has been upgraded and wireless is now available in the rooms. I hope to go back in the near future.

Cypress Cove was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My thirteen year old son loved the pool and the restaurant had great food and service! So the guy that left that nasty review must be a jerk, because my family and I will definitley go back there.

This hotel was great when it first opened. Now it still has extensive water damage, dehumidifers in the halls and every room can't keep up, linens are thread bare, towels small and greasy. Internet only worked in lobby, which mad work difficult, and the breeze from the garbage dump only adds to the ambiance. I arrived in a 2am and... More

Stayed there 2 nights. Drove down on Sunday to go deep sea fishing on Monday. Monday night most of the restaurants are closed. We used the picnic area underneath the hotel to grill fresh tuna. Love being able to overlook the marina. Rooms were nice and clean. Maid left us a nice post-it note on the t.v. Everyone was very... More
