Carter Plantation for weddings and receptions is a complete ripoff IMO. You are nickled and dimed to death for sub standard treatment and surroundings. My husband and I checked into the Villas at Carter Plantation for a wonderful weekend celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. What a beautiful location! The staff was helpful and the room was fantastic. We had a delightful time and can't wait to return!
