Every place we stayed in Costa Rica after staying at Finca Bellavista felt too tame, too touristy and too full of people. It's very hard to create an environment in a wild place where you feel safe, while at the same time not feeling it's been tamed for your enjoyment. We've both traveled to many places, and felt that Finca... More

Finding and arriving to the property is part of the adventure. We approached just before sunset, cloud mist all around in the trees as you are at high elevation. It was so exciting and mysterious. On arrival we so warmly welcomed by the team. Christian check us in and helped us carry bags to our accommodations; Casa Del Sol which... More

Friends, Go and experience FB. Amazing place! You will see something new and breathtaking in the rain forest everyday. The treehouses are all special and unique. You can't go wrong with any of them. Plenty to do if you want to stay active or you can just relax and take it all in! Food=delicious. Chef Rob will keep you well... More

My sister and I stayed in Cabina Colibri for 5 days at the beginning of May and we've been talking about it with family and friends ever since. I did a lot of research on their website before booking my trip and was able to take advantage of their May promo which saved me 25%. From the moment we arrived... More

This place is not for every one, but it was definetly perfect for us! We were in Mariposa tree house for 3 nights and it was amazing! What an adventure! Very confortable tree house with electricity. We have seen many amazing creatures and plants. This house is isolated in the jungle so you feel like you are alone in your... More

This was the highlight of my 1--day trip. A self-sustaining treehouse community that lives deep in the C.R. rainforest. What was superb - well everything. The people, the FOOD!!!! (OMG The food was D-LISCIOUS!!!! and extremely healthy), the people and the people. My house was stilted (on stilts) near the river. Required a great hike to get to. A wild... More

Finca Bellavista lives up to its promise as an environmentally sustainable tree house community with challenging hikes from which one can explore virgin and secondary growth rain forest, a base camp that offers fantastic food grown on the property, and very cool tree house accommodations. Read the website and follow its instructions. Be prepared to carry anything you want in... More

The sole reason my husband and I chose Costa Rica for our honeymoon was because we had heard about Finca Bellavista and wanted to see it for ourselves. We stayed in El Castillo Mastate, the "penthouse" (as the staff called it). El Castillo (the treehouse pictured in Finca's TripAdvisor thumbnail) was truly a sight to behold and we felt like... First I must say that if you choose a treehouse far from "base camp" plan on doing some walking with hills and wear clothes that you plan on sweating through. It was 100% humidity and anywhere we walked my husband and I were both drenched with sweat. Having said that it was a truly amazing experience and I highly recommend... More

Exciting, unique and authentic. My company hosts wellness travel and eco- adventure experiences globally. We visit a lot of beautiful and authentic properties but Finca Bellavista is one of the most unique settings I have experienced. The grounds and private forest are teeming with wildlife, spectacular plants, views, well marked hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming holes. The tree houses are not... More
