We had two wonderful nights in one of these peaceful cottages. Beautiful, unique cottages contained everything we required including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Very clean. Had a lovely breakfast each morning in the Coffee House. Will visit again.

From the outside the cottages look quite plain but when you go in they are a revalation, Plenty of space, lovely individual furnishings and a comfortable bed. Added to the quiet but convienient location just a short walk back to the Cajun Village for breakfast- also excellent. We only stayed for 1 night but would have happily stayed for more.... More

We stayed here for one evening. The owner was very nice. It was great because it was not the cookie cutter hotel which we were trying to avoid this trip. It had character. If you like antiques, you definitely want to stay here! The breakfast was awesome and the wifi worked great!

Theresa kindly fit us in for a two night last minute reservation, even though I woke her up early on a Sunday morning! Due to unusual circumstances, she only had a two bedroom cabin available but offered it to us for the price of a one bedroom. It was adorable. All the furnishings were perfectly matched to the charmingly restored... More

We took a spontaneous road trip to the Cajun Village over Spring Break. We had originally planned to go to New Orleans but decided the St Patricks Day parade crowds were not what we were after...so after some on line browsing....found the Cajun Village. LOVED IT! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the Coffee Shop and little shops next door. Got... More

The cabin was so welcoming as was Theresa the owner. She made us feel so welcomed and took such excellent care of us from the moment we called to make our reservation until our check out. The location is so close to all of the plantations . We had a wonderful breakfast at the coffee house in the cajun village... More

I was in need of a relaxing place to stay and The Cajun Village Cottages was exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn't know how great it would be at the time I booked). Attending a conference at a facility in Gonzales, I did not want to stay where everyone else was. I wanted to attend what... More

We loved it! With the experience of that of staying in a small original cabin the the middle of the swamp, we were comfortably close to "civilization" and great cajun dining. Our cabin was clean, secure, sealed (from bugs), and very very comfortable. This is important for city-slickers like us. The "Cabin" just down the road for a great value... More

Me and my sister had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, the owner had been very friendly and helpful. A good place to explore plantations around. We loved the everything about it. Every cabin is special and unique. The price was very fair, we had a great two bedroom cabin for the price of a nice hotel room! I would... More

What a lovely little woodland cabin for a romantic few nights away. They look quaint and simple from the outside but are beautifully equipped on the inside with everything you need for a weekend break away in the countryside. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and the cabin was spotlessly clean. Do try the beignets in... More
