Theresa kindly fit us in for a two night last minute reservation, even though I woke her up early on a Sunday morning! Due to unusual circumstances, she only had a two bedroom cabin available but offered it to us for the price of a one bedroom. It was adorable. All the furnishings were perfectly matched to the charmingly restored... More

We took a spontaneous road trip to the Cajun Village over Spring Break. We had originally planned to go to New Orleans but decided the St Patricks Day parade crowds were not what we were after...so after some on line browsing....found the Cajun Village. LOVED IT! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the Coffee Shop and little shops next door. Got... More

The cabin was so welcoming as was Theresa the owner. She made us feel so welcomed and took such excellent care of us from the moment we called to make our reservation until our check out. The location is so close to all of the plantations . We had a wonderful breakfast at the coffee house in the cajun village... More

I was in need of a relaxing place to stay and The Cajun Village Cottages was exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn't know how great it would be at the time I booked). Attending a conference at a facility in Gonzales, I did not want to stay where everyone else was. I wanted to attend what... More

We loved it! With the experience of that of staying in a small original cabin the the middle of the swamp, we were comfortably close to "civilization" and great cajun dining. Our cabin was clean, secure, sealed (from bugs), and very very comfortable. This is important for city-slickers like us. The "Cabin" just down the road for a great value... More

Me and my sister had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, the owner had been very friendly and helpful. A good place to explore plantations around. We loved the everything about it. Every cabin is special and unique. The price was very fair, we had a great two bedroom cabin for the price of a nice hotel room! I would... More

What a lovely little woodland cabin for a romantic few nights away. They look quaint and simple from the outside but are beautifully equipped on the inside with everything you need for a weekend break away in the countryside. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and the cabin was spotlessly clean. Do try the beignets in... More

We reserved 3 cabins and stayed here for several days for a family reunion of sorts, and practically had the place to ourselves the entire time. The cabins are in the middle of the woods and completely secluded from other areas of the property, and it was so quiet in the evenings that we all sat outside in the rocking... More

My husband and I just returned from a one night stay at this lovely cottage, located deep in Cajun Country. It was quite lovely and charming. The one bedroom cottage (cottage #2) is quite roomy with a living room, bedroom, dinning room, kitchen, and bathroom. All for the same price that a standard hotel room would cost you. It was...
