We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The room had magnificent, interesting decor. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Even though we had to leave early each morning, the host prepared a special breakfast just for us. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area. We could not... More

Don't be put off buy the industrial and commercial districts you will likely traverse to get there. The 1-2 mile stretch of Fairfield on which the B&B is located is attractive and the neighboring homes pretty. 2439 is a delightful home. It is wonderfully decorated with an emphasis on family history and artifacts. Each bedroom has a bath. Breakfast is... More

Im 15 and i don't live too far from shreveport, but was looking for a place to stay due to my grandmother having surgery at 5am. At first I didn't want to stay because it looked kinda scary to me. I thought maybe the place was haunted. But theres bible verses everywhere. So my fears of ghosts went away. We... More

This wonderful B&B captures everything you could desire in terms of old-school southern hospitality, from the second-story verandas to the tomato-cream grits. The owners have done everything possible to capture the charm and elegance of Louisiana living: beautiful decor, gracious conversation, wonderful food, and all the details. We spent a perfect St. Valentine's Day here in 2015, and are very... More

My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of days on a girls' getaway weekend. We chose December because my daughter really wanted to stay in a place decorated for Christmastime. We stayed in the Vicki Gail suite which was really nice not really a "suite" though - a bedroom with a bath and a balcony. We were a... More

We stayed here with two other couples the middle of January. The owners left our room keys and information sheet in the porch mail box as they were unable to be there at the time of our arrival. The house was built in 1905 and is decorated with beautiful antiques and period decor. We stayed in the three King rooms,... More

Spent the day in Shreveport shopping. The best meal of the day was the breakfast that we had at the bed and breakfast. Great deal, amazing mattress, beautiful decor, awesome service. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

2439 Fairfield is an oasis in a lodging desert caused by glitzy casinos and a city which emphasizes the casino business over fine lodging and dining. Brian & Jimmy have created a friendly welcoming place. The house is filled with Jimmy's collection of village houses, paperweights, and so on. Our room was thoughtfully laid out with a jacuzzi tub. The... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and 3 wonderful breakfast. It was such a treat. The rooms were comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting out on our private balcony and of course the wonderful meals prepared for us. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone playing a trip to the Shreveport/Bossier City area and I know that... More

While recently traveling through Louisiana we chose to spend a night at this amazing little B&B. What fun it was. Every little nook is filled with treasures and owner Jimmy Harris is very willing to tell the history behind them. We stayed in the Paul Stetson room which was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy to... More
