My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and 3 wonderful breakfast. It was such a treat. The rooms were comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting out on our private balcony and of course the wonderful meals prepared for us. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone playing a trip to the Shreveport/Bossier City area and I know that... More

While recently traveling through Louisiana we chose to spend a night at this amazing little B&B. What fun it was. Every little nook is filled with treasures and owner Jimmy Harris is very willing to tell the history behind them. We stayed in the Paul Stetson room which was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy to... More

My boyfriend and I live 700 miles apart, Shreveport is in the middle. We found this place and it is perfect for a romantic getaway weekend. Can't wait to go back and have some of their cheesy tomato grits!

The room was lovely (in that over-the-top, victorian-themed-bed-and-breakfast kind of way). Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was mostly excellent, including eggs, toast, mushrooms, freshly-picked local berries, and delicious fried pies. The only exception was the quiche, which we both found a little gross, but there was more than enough other delicious food to make up for that. Proprietor was friendly but... More

We arrived around 9pm to be greeted by other guests who let us in, the owners were not present. They showed us where our room was which we can describe only as a chintz explosion of frills, flowers, ruffles, doilies and the highest bed we've encountered on a holiday, it even came with a step stool. The hunt for the... More

Just spent three nights at 2439 Fairfield. Jimmy Harris' passions for hospitality, outstanding food and antiques is incredible good luck for the rest of us! We, too, felt that we were visiting a close friend in his gracious and beautiful home. The breakfast is unbelievably good with lots of interesting variety. I can't say enough good things about this B&B... More

We always enjoy staying at a Bed and Breakfast rather than a hotel. Jimmy made our 2439 Fairfield stay a wonderful experience. We left feeing we had spent the weekend with a long time friend. The food was delicious, the home was relaxing and Jimmy was an exceptional host! The experience of arriving at a strangers home and being welcomed... More

2439 Fairfield and Jimmy were amazing! My husband is already urging me to book a weekend for Christmas 2012... When we visited (January 6-8), the holiday decorations were still up and it was really great. No matter what we might do at home, it could never match Jimmy's nutcrackers and villages and dangling icicles. Well, one must realize that it's... More
