Two different electronic room keys would not work three different times. We were treated like we must have had something that was deactivating the keys but we stayed last week for four nights at the Hilton Garden Inn and never had a problem and didn't treat their keys any differently. The team stayed here last year as the tournament was at the Convention Center. Very convenient. Said service at the restaurant was horrible. I think it has gone downhill from "horrible". Group of 18 eating dinner. They lined up our food under heat lamps and waited until all was done before serving. One server! My french fries were actually cold.... more

I travel to the area about every 6-8 weeks. Each time I have stayed, there has been something out of kilter. No sugar packets in the restaurant, no grapefruit juice, insufficient staffing in the restaurant, remote control not working, etc. The staff was pleasant but not overly helpful. This is definitely the newest and cleanest hotel in the Shreveport area. Very convenient if you are going to the convention center. A couple of the casinos are walking distance, although the Horseshoe, which is by far the best casino in Shreveport, requires a relatively short drive over the river to Bossier. The facility was nice - actually beautiful. The front desk was fine; not unhelpful but not really making the extra effort. The shuttle service from the airport was great - timely, friendly, helpful; they went out of their way to answer questions and provide information about the area. Nice and clean rooms! We normally stay at one of the Casino Resorts, but they were all booked so we chose the Hilton as it is close by to many main attractions as well as Casinos.
