Clean, nice amenities, comfortable bed, and very courteous staff. Stayed on a Thursday night but Friday/Saturday rooms were quoted at around $250 per night. I would have expected more, if paying the full rate. Only room fault was one moulding coming loose and no "Do Not Disturb" door hanger found. Decent casino with a fairly wide variety of games and... The hotel was very nice. staff was courteous. The room was in excellent shape but cant say much for the casino, was very small and multilevel. Machines were tight. we played a lot and many slots. Overall it was ..ok. We ended up going to Horsehoe and same thing. tight.

I had a very large Luxury King room on the 19th floor with the city view and it was everything I could have hoped for. The room was very large and fresh, the bathroom was big, with a separate seated vanity area which I appreciated. The city view was nice (not sure what the river view held, but I didn't... More

I must admit I love Sam's Town, and ironically received the same room this time around as before. Thank you Leida & Jacob for excellent check in assistance.(19th floor) The hotel once again met my expectations; only exception was secruity paid a visit! I pride myself on scouring for the best, which Sam's this past weekend were one of the... More

I live in Reno Nevada and I happen to be here in Shreveport on business. I stopped in and got a room hoping it would be something different from other Sam's Town properties I have visited. Well it wasn't. I guess its my own fault, casino attract a smoky, cheese environment. The rooms were big and mine overlooked the river,... More

This hotel wasn't bad for the price, having not ever stayed at a hotel\casino outside Vegas I guess I was expecting too much. Smoke smell was present everywhere and everything just seemed wiped down and not fully clean. Also being from Oklahoma(home of the worlds largest casino) I was imagining this giant casino. What I found instead was three floors... More

Stayed there last night. There was a backlog of people at the hotel registration area unhappy and grumbling about waiting to get their rooms. It was 4:00 (check in time) and apparently their rooms had not been turned over. I don't know why - maybe because of the type of room I reserved (1 king bed non-smoking room) - but... More

This was our first visit to Sam's Town in Shreveport. We were given a beautiful room overlooking the river. The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we travel to Shreveport.

I was impressed by Sam's Town Hotel. The room was roomy, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Unlike so many valet hotels, I did not have to wait for my car which is a big plus. The hotel is downtown in Shreveport so I did not see much in the area worth exploring unfortunately.

Don't eat at the buffet. Casino is pretty basic, but ok. We also go to the casino next door which is a very short walk and have even more fun there...its called the Eldorado. Shopping is a short drive over the river. We've stayed at Sam's several times for the conveinence of what we like to do and visit ...will... More
