Rodney and Darlene are such a nice couple. They welcome us so kindly that we felt like we were meeting some extended family. The room where we stayed was really big and the bed really comfortable. And what can we say about breakfast ?? It was so delicious ! And we had the chance to spend time with both Rodney... More

The b&b is situated outside Lafayette in a very quiet area. The room was equipped with bathroom. Everything is kept nice and clean. The owners are very helpful with all information a tourist would need. Breakfast is homemade in the family kitchen and with variations everyday of our six nights stay. We would love to be back :-)

Thank you Darlene and Rodney for your warm welcome; we really enjoyed your relax and friendly style, along with our bilingual discussions at breakfast. Your advice were always helpful, and yes Rodney, we went to taste the tabasco ice creams in New Iberia, and it was a great experience! We hope that we can back to your place before you... More

Doesn't get any better. The Savoy's were the most warm and inviting people. Being a Cajun myself, I couldn't have asked for any thing better...great food, the heartwarming breakfasts and the quality time. It was our pleasure to meet "cuzins" , and those memories will be treasured. We look forward to when our paths will cross again.

Of the possibly hundred b&bs we have stayed in over the years, this ranks in the top three. Perfect little cottage with everything you need to live there... even an upper room with a pool table. Very welcoming and comfortable. It was the last night of our trip and we were tired and ready to be home but enjoyed this... More

This is a wonderful couple who are friendly and helpful, with a really nice place to stay and delicious breakfast. Enjoyed it immensely! I traveled from Mobile Alabama to experience Cajun country. Only got to stay one night, but would visit again if I am in the area. They know all the local places to see and have been in... More

The Savoy B&B is lovely in every respect. The grounds are attractive, the room immaculate, and hosts open-hearted. We arrived in the afternoon, enjoyed relaxing on the patio with Darlene while soaking in the beautiful gardens and spring weather. Rodney fixed breakfast for us and shared his pride and knowledge about the Acadian culture. Our goal for this trip was... More

This place is truly a home away from home. We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights. Rodney and Darlene are wonderful hosts, just like visiting long lost friends. The cottage with private patio, jacuzzi, and pool table, was a joy. Immaculately clean, stocked with a full kitchen to make yourself at home. Rodney 'rocks' at breakfast. Awesome food and... More

We stayed that the Savoy in the summer of 2006, and now that I'm planning another trip in 2008, I can't wait to stay there again! Rodney and Darlene are friendly, welcoming and accomodating, everything you would expect regarding Southern Hospitality. The cottage is a wonderful place to stay if you'd like to have your friends and family come by... More
