I enjoyed my stay very much! The Owners are very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the old fashion style is what I liked. The breakfast was nice. I hope to stay here again in the future, this time I will bring my husband with me.

Rooms are located amongst a patio and pool, maintenance good be better. Rooms are decorated 'antiquely': lots of stuff in the room, lamps, old bed, old airco, old bath. The noisy airco prevends hearing the neighboors, because rooms have no isolation. However, bed sleeps very well and bath and shower supply sufficient and very hot water. The whole entourage is... We stayed two nights at this place along with another couple and both left with the intention of not staying here again....which is sad, because the place has a lot of potential. The people are nice, and relaxed, but so are their maintenance and cleaning rituals. Everything is worn out and many things need to be replaced (like bed linens,... More

On May 1, 2014, we had a mystery trip unknown to our seniors. We had a delightful lunch at the St. Francisville Inn. The staff was very friendly and the delicious meal was served right on time for our schedule. We also toured the Grace Episcopal Church with its beautiful stained glass windows and beautiful grounds.

It was a pleasure to meet some of the other guests. The breakfasts were good. The staff was helpful and the owners pleasant. But the swimming pool was scary and there were numerous problems with our room (the fan was fixed while we were there, but the a/c had only one idea -- cold). We were with a friend who... More

This was the south we only dreamed of...after an obscure recommendation by the local tourist office, we lucked upon this B&B. It was truly amazing: fabulous room, beautiful house with all the trappings and a delicious breakfast. We met other travellers, drank lovely wine and chatted the hours away as if at home. After an eight hour drive from Bandera... More

First clue was dragging my luggage thru leaves and gravel to the sign at the back of the property - "Guest Entrance." Second clue - no light when I flipped the switch by the door. Room was upstairs in wooden building with wooden leaf-covered fire escape. Room was cold and bed was hard. Extra blankets were stained, ancient, and did... More

We ended up in Saint Francisville by default...on a road trip from South Carolina to Texas, took a detour and ended up staying there for 3 days...loved everything about the town and the Inn..we stayed there in 2011 while a major murder trial was happening and the river was in flood....the legal teams were staying at the Inn so there... After a week's stay with the friends at this beautiful B&B, I will most definitely be back. The main house is stunningly beautiful, and the guest rooms feel like you're staying at your best friend's house. Most of all, the tremendous hospitality is simply some of the best I have enjoyed ANYWHERE!!! If you're in the area, this is a... More

Stayed here for a night- beautiful old house with guest rooms in the back. For 100$/night it is definitely a good deal. Full breakfast in the morning, friendly and helpful owner, and wine/bar available for night time card playing.
